I DON'T LIKE ATTENTION

Amy got up in the morning and got ready to go to the market. It had been more than a week since she moved to Milan and she had mostly stayed indoors. As expected, her cousin didn't want her to live with her in the beginning but after Amy gave her a year's rent, she was so ecstatic that she hugged her before welcoming her into the house.

Ivy had given Amy the ointment for her wounds since she didn't have time to get another one and her cousin had been religiously applying it on her back and neck every morning and evening for the past week. Due to this, her back healed tremendously.

Her sisters had been nothing but angels as they spoke to her every evening and gave her reasons to laugh before going to bed. She noticed though that Mabel didn't speak much and sounded unhappy but when she asked her, Mabel said it was because she missed her.
