Chapter 5

I did not expect my closest family members to say such cruel words. Although I had experienced it once, I was still heartbroken.

I had beaten Nancy up badly and humiliated her. Certainly, she wanted to do the same to me.

She shook off the two men and accepted a switchblade from David.

“David, you know me well.”

David grinned and never even thought of the fact that I had made him that switchblade when we were both young. Yet, he handed the switchblade to Nancy, my biggest enemy. He did not care if it would kill me.

Nancy played with the switchblade and gripped my hair. “Let’s start with your hair.”

David became worried that I might suddenly get up and beat Nancy up. So, he immediately grabbed my hands from behind and forced my head down.

Nancy cracked a hideous smile and slashed at my scalp repeatedly. “Oh, I’m sorry. I wasn’t holding the switchblade properly.”

While she talked, she slashed at the back of my head and created a bloody cut. I gritted my teeth but remained quiet
