JAYDEN’S P.O.V.

I walked up to my room happily, only to find it empty. Of course, I should have known. His scent was not here… and if it were, it was quite feeble, like he has not been here for more than a day, which truly was the case. So I walked back up the stairs, and followed his scent.

He was in his old bed room.

I knocked and entered. He was lying on the bed, fully dressed in his old, dirty, bloody clothes, and staring at the ceiling.

“What are you doing?” I asked as I stood at the door. True to her word, there was not a single thing that belonged to Nash in this room. It was just as barren – i.e. lacking any personal belongings of anyone – as it had done before Nash had moved in. Gosh! Was it only less than a week since this boy, this incredibly beautiful boy came back in my life? It felt like a lifetime ago.
