LOGINI blinked once—twice.
Was I seeing correctly? Jace immediately turned away from me, this time his bare ass faced towards me. He would have gone ahead to grab a towel or something to cover up but there didn't seem to be anything closer to his reach and he could only stand there, smooth round ass facing me. And as tipsy as I was, I definitely wasn't seeing wrong. A smirk spread across my face. "Were you waiting all day long—naked for me?" I asked sarcastically, approaching him, my eyes not ready to peel away from his body. "Stop saying rubbish, get out of my room!" Jace called out. "Your room?" I asked as I ran my eyes around this place. "Oh..." I breathed out. I must have forgotten that I already left this place for him to accommodate. I used to just enter whatever bedroom I wanted while living alone but I guess I didn't have that freedom anymore and as I turned back to him, his bare ass was the first thing my eyes locked in on. I didn't know why but a small smile curved on my face. "That's a pretty ass you've got there I must say." "Maddox, get out of my room!" Jace half yelled. I couldn't see his face properly but I knew he was beginning to regret why he even bothered coming to live with me. It was too late. He really must have done all of this knowingly. Knew I would be arriving this tipsy, and decided to remain naked, already seeming to stir whatever I had buried deep inside me. "Do you really want me gone?" I murmured, taking another predatory step forward. The closer I got, the more my own body began to betray me entirely. Damn! I like women, and even if I did have feelings for guys, it wouldn’t be my stepbrother of all people! I was drunk, but not enough to blind me to the perfect, slender lines of his body. "You sure you didn't do this purposely?" I asked, leaning on Jace's shoulder now, my breath fanning his neck as he shudders. I knew that if he wasn't naked and shying from turning to me, he would have pushed me out of here and if I wasn't drunk either, I would have forced myself out of here too. He irked me. He was supposed to irk me, but right now, the three years of built-up malice were melting into pure, unadulterated heat. I let my fingers trace a slow path down his trembling shoulder, watching goosebumps erupt over his smooth skin. I leaned forward as I placed a kiss on his neckline. Fuck, what was I doing? "Mad—Maddox..." He stammered. As close as I was, I could feel the pounding of his heart, beating against his chest as though wanting to be let out. He was mine, now. At least for tonight. I've tried to hide how he had made me feel, all of the malice. And maybe after this, I would be able to hate him less. "Stop!" Jace pronounced, this time sounding louder and I stopped my lips from trailing down his body. He stayed this way for a little while as though gathering courage, just then he sauntered away from our closeness, to the bed, and I watched him grab a towel but even with that—the towel still wasn't capable of hiding his own bulge. I turned my face to meet his and I could see his cheeks go pink, embarrassed. "Such a hypocrite." I cussed under my breath. "Any more steps, I will report you. Have you taken away from living in this good well-off apartment far away from me, and even worse." Jace threatened as though that was enough to have me back off. "Really? Then perhaps I'd have to tell them as well how you used to sneak kisses at me. Was it two years after our parents married?" I mentioned, and I could see the dread growing visibly across his face. "Isn't that the reason why you've been avoiding me all these while? After I caught you touching yourself while holding my boxers?” I paused, grinning wildly. The fact that I was remembering all of that was even crazier as I took a step closer to Jason who seemed lost for words now. "You've always failed to pretend that you do not accept me as your stepbrother every time those lips of yours find mine. So why the pretence?" I trailed my finger on his soft lips. Just like I remembered, they were still soft and tender. He really hasn't changed that much after all. I raised my eyebrows at Jace. This time, he was standing still, as though he wasn't willing to push me away any longer. I wrapped my hand around the back of his neck, pulling him recklessly close and taking his lips in one go. There was no hesitation, no reluctance from either of us. We had a past—unresolved, and now that he was living right under my roof, I wasn’t going to let him go. He was the first guy to ever unlock this side of me before vanishing into thin air, but now that he was in my web, I was never letting him out of my sight. Not until I got my absolute fill of him. Jason moaned into the kiss, his hands blindly gripping my shirt as I pushed him back onto the bed. His towel completely slipped away this time, but I didn’t care. I allowed myself to run my eyes over every detail of his beautiful, trembling body before joining him on the mattress, my own bulge pressing hard against his. As I claimed his lips again, I ground us together, moving in a heavy rhythm that promised to ruin us both before the night was over. What the hell was she doing here?I turned sharply toward the doorway. Wendy stood there, her eyes darting back and forth between me and Jason, who was sitting completely tense and frozen on the edge of the bed.“I was looking for you...” she started, shifting her eyes back to meet mine. “I heard your voice up here and I thought—”“Get out!” I snapped, cutting her off abruptly before she could finish the sentence.Wendy’s brows furrowed in pure shock, as if she hadn't heard me clearly or couldn't fathom that I was actually speaking to her in that tone.I just held her gaze, cold and unflinching, until she finally seemed to process the order. Scowling, she turned on her heel and headed back down the hallway.I didn't care whether she had overheard any of our argument. But when I turned back to Jason, I could see the immediate terror written across his features. It was as if he thought Wendy was the last person on earth who should ever suspect a damn thing about us.No one should know.
I banged on the door again, but there wasn't a single sign of willingness on the other side to open it—almost as if he had sworn never to set eyes on me again. Was it my fault he ended up in that pain? A simple instruction should be obeyed. It was as easy as that.I turned on my heel, walked back into my own bedroom, and grabbed the master bunch of keys from my nightstand drawer. Striding back toward his door, I smirked to myself. He probably thought I had already given up and walked away.Every time I thought Jace had finally learned his lesson, he proved me wrong. God, whenever he pulled this annoying shit, it made me want to break him even more. If he still had the strength left to fight me, maybe he could take a few more strikes. I shouldn't have stopped at four last night out of some misplaced sense of mercy. I had assumed he understood his place, but I guess I was dead wrong.I thrust the key into the lock, turned the mechanism with a sharp click, and twisted the knob open, step
My ass was still throbbing with a cruel, persistent heat. I cursed under my breath, swearing at myself for somehow being the cause of my own damn torment.I carefully shuffled out of the bathroom.Maddox wasn't up here. He was probably out.Christ! I really hoped he was—because I was starting to get terribly thirsty. It was already dawn, and I had already made up my mind that I was skipping all my classes today. There was no way in hell I was letting anyone on campus see me walking like a crippled duck. I had barely survived the rumors from last weekend, and now I was right back in the exact condition—except this time, with the mystery pain-relief ointment waiting in my nightstand drawer, I’d hopefully recover a little faster.Holding tightly onto the handrail, I navigated down the staircase. The trip took twice as long as it usually did.My eyes were heavy and swollen from a restless sleep filled with low groans I hadn't been able to stop until the sun came up.When I reached the liv
“Argh!” A choked cry tore right out of my throat, my fingers digging desperately into the silk sheets. My knuckles burned as the sharp, blinding pain radiated across my body.“Jason...” Maddox’s voice sliced through the silence, dragging me brutally back to reality.I panted heavily, my chest heaving against the mattress as a wave of panic washed over me. I had messed up. I wasn't supposed to make a sound like that.“Please...” I whimpered out, my voice trembling.“Have you lost count, or shall we start all over again?” He asked smoothly. His tone was utterly devoid of emotion, detached and authoritative.Shit. If I had known he was capable of this sadistic shit, would I have even bothered coming downstairs for a glass of water? No... I never should have disobeyed him.“It... it was the third,” I groaned, burying my face deeper into the pillow. He didn't respond immediately. He just let the silence stretch, giving the burning pain time to sink deep into my skin. With every single stri
“Charles is helping me with something. Once we’re done, I’ll stay away from him...” The words rolled softly out of his mouth. His eyes remained fixated on mine, but instead of the submission his quiet tone suggested, his gaze burned with something entirely different.Hatred. Pure, raw hatred that I probably should have taken as a warning.I could have cleared his doubts right then and there. I could have told him the real reason I wanted him away from Charles, but... I didn't have to explain a damn thing to him. Keeping him in the dark was better anyway. Charles wasn't the sweet, helpful guy he must have thought Charles was.“My friends are trouble,” I said flatly, keeping my eyes locked on his. “That should be more than enough reason for you to stay away from them.”“And I said I heard you. I’m not fucking deaf,” he fired back through gritted teeth.I let out a slow exhale, leaning back in my chair. “As long as you do what I ask, that’s all that matters. Finish your food.”“I’m not h
After that confrontation with Charles in the kitchen, my mood switched. He knew me well enough to know I meant every single word I said. How the hell was I supposed to tell him that my stepbrother was completely untouchable? At least until I was done with him, Jason remained mine to deal with—not for Charles to feed his sudden, bi-curious curiosity, as if this was his first time considering a guy when he usually relied on campus guys to give him the best head. Now he wanted to move on to Jace? Christ.Everyone else in the living room cleared out shortly after, noticing the sudden shift in the air. I didn't need to spell it out for them that they were no longer welcome in my house.Right now, rather than lighting another cigarette to calm my nerves, I found myself preparing dinner in the kitchen.Yeah... a guy like me wasn't typically seen standing over a stove, especially considering I grew up as the wealthy heir to the Donovan family. But what else was I supposed to do to clear my he
Right from where I was seated, I could see Jace panting this time, sweating profusely as though I had asked him to do more than fifteen laps, but there he was, skating around the ice as though it were a death sentence. Is this his first time seeing an ice rink or what? Seated here I couldn't ev
The heat was consuming, but as Maddox’s heavy weight pressed down on me, the sheer panic of how far this was going, snapped me back to reality. Gathering every ounce of strength I had, I shoved hard against his broad shoulders, wrenching my lips away from his. “Maddox, stop! No…” I panted, my v
It’s been two days and Maddox words have continuously rang in my head. I was seated in the library staring at my phone with my dad's contact displaying on the screen. I never wanted to bother him. I knew the moment I complained to Dad, Mrs. Donovan would step in to smooth things over—which woul
With a slight frown creasing my brows I dragged my luggage towards the apartment that stood big and mighty right in front of me. No matter how far I ran, life always dragged me back toward him. And now, after years of distance, I was walking straight into the one place I swore I’d never share with
