Samantha’s POV

Alpha Herveaux chased everyone away from his mansion. I was gladly ready to leave until he stopped me. Cervantes told me to keep calm; everything was going on as planned or even better.

He strode off in annoyance. The elders were the first to leave; they were surely shocked by his awful behavior.

"You cannot leave! Hang around or go to your room." Beta Fernando was keen on me. If I wanted to leave, I would have followed Cervantes.

I climbed up the stairs to find my room, but I haven’t slept in it for days now. "What are you doing here?" I asked Tala and Dante. I found them inside my room.

"We missed you," Tala hugged me. Dante just smiled from afar. I understood him. He just felt comfortable in his own space.

I took them out of their room. We went to Tala’s room. We got busy playing, arranging some of Tala’s things.

When Tala noticed her father had been seated at the entrance for a while. He ordered his children to leave, he was sweet and gentle with them.

"That rogue!"
