Chapter 3. Bloody Abduction

Roxanne's Point of View

"Have you ever seen a woman that pallid before Rheomitres?" I heard a deep accented voice, said. 

A walk of vague growling and masculine murmurings from everywhere passed before another voice, near my ears, stirred that.

' Neither have I sensed and seen this exceptional scent and beauty Atizyes. She's intoxicating.' The voice, the voice that I heard when I was about to kill myself! But just a little deeper! Am I already sav-

'Wait, why do I feel like I'm moving?! No, am I being massaged by a moving bed? Why do I feel like my chest is moving up and dow-'

"Rheomitres, it seems she's awake." The former deep voice interrupted my thoughts as I try to raise my head and open my eye-

'Ouch!' I cried inwardly as every single move felt like it was sending electricity into my body. The electricity that brings smacks, bruises, and combustion into my muscles inside. Slowly, I try to feel my hands-

'Oh my goodness! Where are my hands?! I can't feel them! Am I......already handless?!........... NO!'

I forcefully ceased my thoughts as I slowly tried to open my eyes, yet I can't. When I firmly closed my eyes back to feel my body parts, I could slowly feel my hands falling down, as if being pulled by air. My cheeks, chest, and feet are in a very fluffy moving up and dow-

'What is this? Soft? Grey f- fur?!'

"AHHHH! What the hell?! What am I-"

"Hey! Don't mov-" 

"OUCH!" 

From my mouth's piercing short cry of pain, my head and every body part cry in pain as well, silent and long. Especially my butt, as I just realized that I suddenly fell. 

I gently reopened my eyes to make sure that I just imagine that fur again and this fal-

"Hey, are you alright?" A pair of dirty bulky feet appear in front of my downcasted eyes.

Looking up, I don't know what to believe. If I am still saved or not-

"AHHH! A wolf!" As I screamed in fear, my feet instinctively started moving me away. The dark-eyed man is standing with a deadly WOLF.

The wolf is different from the first I saw and less dark but it's still gazing as if it already knew I am a delicious pre-

'AWWW!' As I am backwardly moving away, my palms' wounds are being tortured, like they're being pricked every time they touch the ground, while my stomach feels as if it's not already there. And, and 'AHHH! My whole body is like breaking apart!'

The two locked their gaze on me and it seems even the human beside the wolf is going to eat me. I can feel my body trembling, breaking, and dying from so much hunger and fatigue but I dare not to lose my control over it. 

'What are these creatures?'

I try to gulp deeply to have at least some wetness inside my mouth but I didn't get enough because I don't have the strength to gulp deeply. Still, I began finding my voice,

"P- pleaseee, s-spare me." Realizing my voice, it came out just a murmur. 

Out of fear, I didn't watch their reactions and stopped my backward running to turn around and crawl. But my palms are already bleeding again. Because of too much pain, I am already feeling numb. 

I forcefully stopped and brought my hands to support my knees and as I tried to get up, my feet felt like they had become water, pulling me back down. My eyes instinctively raised towards the two and they remained in their position but I was able to see past them and there they are. The people and wolves where the vague murmuring and growling are coming from. I slowly lifted up my head to see more but the familiar voice startled me.

'Atizyes, get her back to me.'

I didn't see it fully but my ears tell it came from the wolf. Since the man beside him didn't open his mouth. But it is the same voice I heard when I was trying to kill myse- 

'Why are you treating her like a queen!' "GRRRRR!"

The loud shout and growl behind them caught all of our attention but I'm the only one who didn't move because of the swiftness. I can't even tell if it's a female voice or a male one. My eyes only watched as another large wolf leaped until it was in front of me. In a second, my senses are witnessing a wolf starting to show its large, very pointed canines. But I didn't fully see that as I was smashed into a tree. It all happened too quickly, too painful, and out of my control that I can already feel the blood flowing everywhere me. Pricks of plants and stones accompanying them. 

While my ears are distracted by the uproarious fight between wolves, and humans perhaps, that I don't know when did they multiply so much, I am trying hard to open my eyes. Until the loud growls and yelling suddenly ceased when a powerful and loud thud came in front of me. Loud enough to wake up my eyes fully, and make me see the naked unconscious woman painted with blood everywhere on her body. 

'Life, death, heaven, and hell, please tell me this is all a dream. Pleaseeee!'

Everything inside me screamed in utter dread yet my mouth can no longer voice it out. 

"GRRRRR!"

 'Defy me and I will execute you.' 

The aggressive growl, then the strong demand made my eyes look up, anywhere. My eyes can't settle to one as I could feel killing eyes from everywhere around me. My body is half supported by a tree, so I am bound to see these even without me standing up. After a minute of rounding my eyes, it felt like they were exploding so I was forced to  shut them. Now, only my ears can sense what's going on. And what I could hear were growls and murmurs , again. 

Maybe they're not just murmurs, but knowing that my body is dying, it's only what I could hear. 

'This woman could enlighten the king! Do not dare interfere if you do not want to anger him!' Again, the same voice before shouted. 

A wave of riotous growls responded to him.

Then another shouted, "She could be a Macedonian! A rogue! A trap! A bait! A destruction! Why do you insist on taking her?!" 

This, a shout that I could determine was a female voice, sent a little spark of hope everywhere in my veins and opened my eyes. Again, I was met by a horde of wolves and humans with a splash of blood everywhere but I didn't make it affect me. As long as there is still a woman, I have a little hope that I am still safe.
