Chapter 8.3 Nipping in the Bud
The first thing that came into Iris’ mind when she heard that Roxanne’s now dead was how will she shut the mouths of those disgusting men from the motel’s lobby earlier. Clearly, if the police searches for Roxanne’s last whereabouts, those men are the witnesses. She regretted that she didn’t give them a warm hug.
Max, Claire and Iris quickly grabbed their badges and headed downstairs with urgency. Iris’ mind was swirling with all the possibilities of Roxanne’s death that may affect their gang.
