In the morning, William saw Laura getting ready. He wondered where she was going so early.

"What are you going to do this early, Laura?"

"Do you think I'm not busy? I have something to do; I don't need your permission, do I?"

"Why have you changed like this? Is it because of Michelle?!" asked William as he grabbed Laura's arm just as she was about to leave.

"Aren't I just like this?" replied Laura, annoyed with William's behavior.

Laura brushed William's hand away, and coinciding with a familiar female voice, Michelle came over with a smile, pushing aside Laura, who was standing not far from William.

The sexy woman clung to William, who was still focused on Laura. But Laura didn't seem to care and preferred to leave the lovers whom she thought were letting go of their longing. Deep down, Laura felt sad; why did she have to live like this?

Once outside the house, Laura's mobile phone rang.

"Come here quickly! We have something to talk about, and you should know what it is!"

Without waiting for an answer from Laura, the phone was already hung up, making her grunt in annoyance. She looked up at the clear sky, which was very different from how she was feeling right now.

"I should look cheerful, but it's hard..." Laura muttered sadly. Unconsciously, her tears fell, and she quickly wiped them away, not wanting anyone to see them.

In addition, Michelle, who was still clinging to William's hand, made the burly man feel uncomfortable. Michelle was surprised because William seemed to be cold to her.

"What's wrong with you? You make me sad, Will!" Michelle said, upset.

"Then, aren't you making me sad? Two years after you decided to leave, I never heard anything from you." William walked towards the front of the house, followed by Michelle.

"I'm sorry, Will. I was busy, and I didn't want to disturb your work. I know you must be very busy," Michelle explained, hugging William from behind and stopping him in his tracks.

"But things are different now. I don't know if I still have you or not," William said, leaving Michelle shocked.

Michelle stood in front of William, her eyes looking angry and not accepting what William said. "I only left to pursue my dreams. Maybe it was wrong of me to leave on our wedding day, so Laura had to replace me. But I never forgot you. Okay, it was wrong of me not to give you any news, but I did it all so that I could finish all my modeling work. I really want to see you soon, William. Please forgive me once again..."

Michelle cried, making William feel so sorry that he hugged her. She smiled; William was quick to melt if she cried and apologized to him.

"I know you still love me, Will. I'm sorry..." Michelle whispered until they finally locked lips.

But inside William, there was a different feeling, not like before when he loved Michelle so much. It wasn't the same feeling as before... so who was that love for? Laura?

"Will, divorce Laura immediately, then we get married, I can't wait to live with you," Michelle said while gently stroking William's lips.

William was silent, wondering if he should really divorce Laura?

***

On the other hand, Laura met with her family.

"Laura, mum's not going to mince words anymore. You must divorce William immediately!" said Shofia, Laura and Michelle's mother.

"Did you ever think of me as your daughter? I feel like you never loved me," Laura said, instead of answering what her mother wanted.

"Why are you talking like that? Don't change the subject, Laura! This is about Michelle; your sister is back, and you must give her Mrs. Anderson's position immediately!"

"I can't!" Laura refused firmly.

"You!" growled Shofia.

"All decisions are in William's hands. If he wants a divorce, I agree; otherwise, Michelle or Mum can no longer force what I choose. I am your son too, Mum. Can't you just take my side for once?"

Laura was very sad because neither her mother nor father ever took her side. All the efforts she made were never appreciated; they only saw Michelle as their proud daughter.

"Don't talk nonsense, Laura. Just do what your mum tells you to do. Besides, William won't keep you!" After saying that, Shofia turned to leave Laura.

Laura smiled sadly. "That's right, William will never keep me as his wife. You're a fool, Laura; you should have disappeared back then instead of being a victim of their selfishness."

Laura left the house, got into her car, and had no idea where to go. She was too tired to deal with all the problems, especially since she had to bear the child of a man who loved another woman.

"Why did I have to have anything to do with him? Why didn't I just run away back then? You're stupid, Laura, stupid!"

Laura calmed herself down and returned late, but upon her return, she was even more upset because Michell, along with William, looked very intimate.

"My sister is back. Laura I haven't spoken to you properly, thank you for filling in for me for the past two years, now you can be free to do whatever you want," Michelle said with a mocking smile, the sister she always beat.

William looked at Laura, as if searching for an answer as to what she might be thinking. Sadness, anger or disappointment?

"You take it easy, big sister. I'm also waiting for the divorce papers from William," Laura said.

"You-"

After William's departure, Michelle became even more uncontrollable, the woman scolded Shofia for not always reminding Laura of her position."She's just my replacement, why is she so brave to play wife! Don't you remind Laura, Mum? William, that man won't let Laura go, even though I've given proof that the child can't be William's biological child.""Patience, darling... Laura, I'm sure there's no place for her to be Mrs Anderson, it's all yours, I'll find a way," said Shofia to win Michelle over."Ways? The only way is to get rid of him!" growled Michelle.***Meanwhile, Laura had already decided to get away from the city, with Mark's help."What's wrong with you, Laura? Can I know your problem, maybe I can help you? I'm really confused, because right now you're alone, even your mum, sorry it's like she doesn't care about you? I know from a long time ago, your mum wasn't very nice to you, is that your family problem? So you decided to leave this city?" Mark asked successively.Laura

"This... I never signed the divorce papers, Laura!" William squealed.Laura laughed, finding William's behaviour amusing, "You seem to be drunk again, so you forget important things. Go and remember everything, instead of regretting it. And... don't ever tell me you're going to keep this marriage, you're the one who pushed me away from you, I'm a bitch and pregnant with an illegitimate child like you said!"Annoyed and no longer willing to talk to William, Laura pushed William's body until she could close the door to her apartment. Laura stood up and leaned against the door, tears in her eyes as William came to see her, saying he would keep their marriage. But the divorce papers were already in his hands. Is William playing tricks on her? Laura thought irritably.Laura remembered exactly that night, before deciding to leave, William who knew she was pregnant, had already decided to separate and asked her to go away from him. "You—it's been so long!" Laura looked delighted to see her college friend, Mark.Meanwhile, the man who had intended to harm Laura walked away ahead of her, realizing his wicked plan could no longer proceed.Mark, who seemed to sense someone was about to harm Laura, quickly approached her. At first, he didn’t even realize it was Laura Brown whom he knew."Yeah, I didn’t expect to see you here. Out at night—aren’t you afraid someone might try something bad, Laura?" Mark asked, glancing at the man who had now distanced himself from them."Try something bad to me?" Laura gave a bitter smile. In her heart, she thought that everyone had already done her wrong."If someone did, maybe I wouldn't be safe right now. But Mark—what are you doing here? I heard you went abroad?""Ah, yes. I’m back now, and I think I’ll be staying for good," Mark explained. They talked for quite a while, and eventually, Mark offered to escort Laura back to her apartment. He was still worried that the man from earli

"What are you saying? Laura is pregnant right now? Then who is the father of her child, William?" Shofia was shocked to hear her daughter's words. "Could this be the reason for Laura's reluctance to separate from William?" Shofia's mind asked. "My little sister says she's pregnant with William's child. But I don't believe it, William never felt like having sex with her. Mum, I will do something so that they never meet again. I hope you won't interfere with my plan." "What are you going to do, Michelle? I don't want you to get into trouble, remember you are a famous model now, and don't forget our previous plan. Don't let things fall apart, your only job is to be Mrs Anderson!" "I know, but for now I have to make William hate Laura. It's like William already likes Laura. I'm not willing to do that!" Michelle's gaze signalled hatred towards Laura, because since childhood the woman had never lost to her younger sister, everything she wanted she would definitely get. But it seemed th

Last night, Michelle came to William without Laura's knowledge. Wearing a sexy outfit, Michelle teased the drunk William. Unfortunately, William was reluctant, even asking Michelle to stay away from him. "Stay away from me, Michelle. You're just like that bitch!" William said half-consciously, although he could still control himself. "I'm not like Laura, Will. Why are you treating me like this? I came to you out of concern. Look, for the sake of that ignorant little sister, you got drunk like this." William laughed sadly. He stood up from his seat, looking at Michelle intimidatingly. "Laura is your little sister. I wonder why you and even your parents don't like her. She's different from you; maybe you're not siblings? Who knows?"William said what was on his mind: a question that had been haunting him since he started dating Michelle. Michelle's parents treated their two daughters very differently; however, William was reluctant to ask or even find out at the time. Now, when he w
