In the morning, William saw Laura getting ready. He wondered where she was going so early.

"What are you going to do this early, Laura?"

"Do you think I'm not busy? I have something to do; I don't need your permission, do I?"

"Why have you changed like this? Is it because of Michelle?!" asked William as he grabbed Laura's arm just as she was about to leave.

"Aren't I just like this?" replied Laura, annoyed with William's behavior.

Laura brushed William's hand away, and coinciding with a familiar female voice, Michelle came over with a smile, pushing aside Laura, who was standing not far from William.

The sexy woman clung to William, who was still focused on Laura. But Laura didn't seem to care and preferred to leave the lovers whom she thought were letting go of their longing. Deep down, Laura felt sad; why did she have to live like this?

Once outside the house, Laura's mobile phone rang.

"Come here quickly! We have something to talk about, and you should know what it is!"

Without waiting for an answer from Laura, the phone was already hung up, making her grunt in annoyance. She looked up at the clear sky, which was very different from how she was feeling right now.

"I should look cheerful, but it's hard..." Laura muttered sadly. Unconsciously, her tears fell, and she quickly wiped them away, not wanting anyone to see them.

In addition, Michelle, who was still clinging to William's hand, made the burly man feel uncomfortable. Michelle was surprised because William seemed to be cold to her.

"What's wrong with you? You make me sad, Will!" Michelle said, upset.

"Then, aren't you making me sad? Two years after you decided to leave, I never heard anything from you." William walked towards the front of the house, followed by Michelle.

"I'm sorry, Will. I was busy, and I didn't want to disturb your work. I know you must be very busy," Michelle explained, hugging William from behind and stopping him in his tracks.

"But things are different now. I don't know if I still have you or not," William said, leaving Michelle shocked.

Michelle stood in front of William, her eyes looking angry and not accepting what William said. "I only left to pursue my dreams. Maybe it was wrong of me to leave on our wedding day, so Laura had to replace me. But I never forgot you. Okay, it was wrong of me not to give you any news, but I did it all so that I could finish all my modeling work. I really want to see you soon, William. Please forgive me once again..."

Michelle cried, making William feel so sorry that he hugged her. She smiled; William was quick to melt if she cried and apologized to him.

"I know you still love me, Will. I'm sorry..." Michelle whispered until they finally locked lips.

But inside William, there was a different feeling, not like before when he loved Michelle so much. It wasn't the same feeling as before... so who was that love for? Laura?

"Will, divorce Laura immediately, then we get married, I can't wait to live with you," Michelle said while gently stroking William's lips.

William was silent, wondering if he should really divorce Laura?

On the other hand, Laura met with her family.

"Laura, mum's not going to mince words anymore. You must divorce William immediately!" said Shofia, Laura and Michelle's mother.

"Did you ever think of me as your daughter? I feel like you never loved me," Laura said, instead of answering what her mother wanted.

"Why are you talking like that? Don't change the subject, Laura! This is about Michelle; your sister is back, and you must give her Mrs. Anderson's position immediately!"

"I can't!" Laura refused firmly.

"You!" growled Shofia.

"All decisions are in William's hands. If he wants a divorce, I agree; otherwise, Michelle or Mum can no longer force what I choose. I am your son too, Mum. Can't you just take my side for once?"

Laura was very sad because neither her mother nor father ever took her side. All the efforts she made were never appreciated; they only saw Michelle as their proud daughter.

"Don't talk nonsense, Laura. Just do what your mum tells you to do. Besides, William won't keep you!" After saying that, Shofia turned to leave Laura.

Laura smiled sadly. "That's right, William will never keep me as his wife. You're a fool, Laura; you should have disappeared back then instead of being a victim of their selfishness."

Laura left the house, got into her car, and had no idea where to go. She was too tired to deal with all the problems, especially since she had to bear the child of a man who loved another woman.

"Why did I have to have anything to do with him? Why didn't I just run away back then? You're stupid, Laura, stupid!"

Laura calmed herself down and returned late, but upon her return, she was even more upset because Michell, along with William, looked very intimate.

"My sister is back. Laura I haven't spoken to you properly, thank you for filling in for me for the past two years, now you can be free to do whatever you want," Michelle said with a mocking smile, the sister she always beat.

William looked at Laura, as if searching for an answer as to what she might be thinking. Sadness, anger or disappointment?

"You take it easy, big sister. I'm also waiting for the divorce papers from William," Laura said.

"You-"

Nothing bad will happen to him! Don’t lie to me, Michelle!” Laura growled at Michelle, who wanted to keep making her feel guilty for everything that had happened.“I don’t care whether you believe it or not. But it’s the truth—the explosion went off right as William and his convoy passed this way. You know, Laura, I’m happy to hear it, because we’re all going to hell together!” Michelle said.Laura stared at Michelle with fear, but also with hatred, be
