Chapter 3

Laura was in her room, lying down and thinking about William's expression. She thought that William really wanted to get away from her. "We should prepare to leave this place; if necessary, we should disappear from them. I don't want them to know about your existence, especially William. I'm afraid that cold man won't accept you or might doubt you if you are his son."

Laura held the ultrasound paper in her hand. The afternoon after meeting with her mother, Laura chose to check her pregnancy, which was already three weeks along. Laura closed her eyes. Would the beautiful woman be strong enough to go through life in the future with her future child?

The next day at the Anderson Company.

William was in a state of confusion and doubt about the big decision he had to make. Should it be a divorce? Even though Michelle had returned to him, the woman who was now his wife was not the one he loved. Why did his heart still feel heavy about making that decision?

William's thoughts were frantic, swirling in his head. The happiness he should have felt when Michelle returned, in fact, turned into a burden. He questioned himself: had his feelings changed, or perhaps had he really let go of his past?

Michelle's sudden presence adds pressure to William.

William, who still hasn't found his footing, can't give a definite answer. He knows too much has happened between them, and his trust in Michelle is long gone. He is also aware that Laura has been an important part of his life for the past two years. However, he also doesn't want to admit that perhaps the growing feelings are more than just familiar.

Late afternoon at the William Anderson residence.

Laura, who was preparing to leave the house, was surprised by the arrival of her older sister. Michelle immediately slapped Laura hard on her right cheek.

Laura was shocked, looking at Michelle with annoyance. "What are you doing? You slapped me, Michelle?!"

"You will get more than just a slap. If you don't leave this place immediately, you will have to go as far away from William as out of the country, disappearing from my and William's sight!" Michelle hissed at Laura.

Laura smiled sarcastically. "Didn't I tell you I'm waiting for the divorce papers from William? Oh, are you afraid William will keep me?" retorted Laura, making Michelle growl angrily.

"You're too confident, Laura. Remember, you will never win over me forever. Even my parents' love I can have in full, so don't ever feel like you can have what I should have! William will always love me!"

"Have I ever taken anything from you? No, I'm just fighting for my happiness, my life! Without having it ruined by you, or anyone else. You want William, take it! But remember, I'm still William Anderson's legal wife. I will leave if the divorce papers are given to me by William. Therefore at this time, you should be careful not to approach William or I will spread the gossip that you are an older sister who wants to snatch the husband of her younger sister, think about this, and maybe it will be fun if this news actually appears on the news, you are a famous model."

Michelle was silent, the woman was speechless. Michelle didn't know if Laura would dare to reply to her. Even had a reason to fight back and would humiliate her. Laura left leaving Michelle still in her room still in a state of anger.

"Bastard! Is he threatening me? Laura, I underestimated you too much, remember me, Michelle will never lose to you!"

Michelle looked at the dressing table and saw a document tucked between the drawers, she curiously opened the drawer and to her surprise it was Laura's pregnancy certificate.

"Is this William's child, is this why William is hesitant to divorce Laura!"  Michelle squeezed Laura's pregnancy certificate.

But her cunning mind made the sexy woman believe that Laura would forever leave William.

"Do you think I'm stupid, Laura? William, my man wouldn't touch you, so who is the child you're carrying? At this point, I know you will never win me over."  Michelle walked away from William's residence, after taking Laura's pregnancy certificate.

Michelle came back to William, who was still at the company, making him grunt in annoyance. The sexy woman upset William against her. However, Michelle was confident that after providing the information she had obtained, it would make William accept her back.

"Are you going to keep Laura, Will? I'm really sad if that happens. I guess during those two years, you never touched her. But she's pregnant right now," Michelle said, leaving William shocked.

"Pregnant? What nonsense are you saying, Michelle?" hissed William, not believing what she was saying.

"Are you angry? Seeing your expression means you never touched her. That's good; it means she betrayed your marriage first. Are you going to keep quiet?" said Michelle while providing evidence that Laura was pregnant at the moment.

William, seeing Laura's pregnancy certificate, made the handsome CEO very angry. William didn't expect that Laura would betray their marriage.

"Look, I was right. Never mind, Will, just divorce her. Laura should have her own life with the man she loves," Michelle said, adding more fuel to William's anger.

Although Michelle did not accept the fact that William already had feelings for his younger sister.

"So, Laura is really pregnant? So, he's been playing with me! Laura, do you really want to split up with me?"
