The Airport.

    Jane caught Heather on her right hand and she turned immediately. Jane left her arm and stood at akimbo, staring at Heather.

“Hi!”

“Who are you?”

“I’m Jane”

“Okay Jane, why are you stopping me?”

“You have to come back please”

“Wha-what are you saying?”

“You have to come back to Strings. They sent me to fetch you back before you board the Aero plane” Jane said loudly, chuckling and staring at Harry.

“Mom said we are gonna be back. Right Mom?” Harry looked at Heather.

“Yeah we were gonna be back. I only came to grab some stuffs”

“This is an airport, not a supermarket.

“Yeah! Really?”

“Yeah” 

“Who sent you to fetch us back? Killian?”

“My Mom”

“Your Mom?”

“Sophia!” Jane mentioned and Heather was surprised.

“Oh! cool” 

“Yeah!” Jane sighed.

“I don’t actually think that I’m going back with you. Am really sorry but the situation is kind of out my league and I don’t wanna hurt myself any longer”

“I hope you understand what I’m saying?”

“No!” Jane exhaled and got Heather staring at her.

“I should be going then” Heather smiled to her and turned to leave but Jane held her hand again.

“I’m sorry but you can’t” Jane replied and Heather stared at her in a wry way.

“Excuse me?”

“Look I don’t know what went on between you and my uncle and trust me, I don’t wanna know but can we just put every shit aside and talk like ladies?”

“You are not a lady”

“I’m 18 and in high school”

“That doesn’t make you a lady. You are just a kid” 

“I appreciate the compliment but please just follow me to the mall” 

“No I’m not doing that” Heather refused.

“What about the deal? The-the wedding dress deal?”

“I don’t need it anymore” 

“Seriously?”

“Yeah, seriously. I got a flight to book, see ya” 

“I wanna play with Molly Mom” Harry said to Heather.

“No you don’t wanna play with Molly” Heather cautioned him immediately and Jane stared at her and scoffed.

“Is that it?” 

“What?”

“Is that why you wanna leave?”

“Because Killian has a daughter and a fiancée?”

“What would you do if you were in my shoes?”

“Welcome everything in open arms?”

“Why did you come in the first? If you knew all this, why did you come?” 

“I didn’t knew I was gonna come work for Killian”

“So it’s a coincidence?” Jane continued.

“What do you want from me?” Heather asked her.

“I like you”

“And?” 

“Okay fine. Let’s make a deal. This is how it’ll go, you follow me back and I will steal Killian’s credit for you” she said and Heather was speechless.

“Okay fine. I won’t steal his credit card but I’ll make him divorce Riley. Deal?”

“No deal”

“Oh please come on. I just got access to my Mom’s car today and I really want to hang out with my friends right now”

“With the car?”

“Of course. Do we have a deal?”

“Please?” she begged. 

    Just then, Sophia and Killian approached them in a hurry. Harry hugged Sophia while Jane groaned.

“No! Mom why did you come?”

“Hi!” Killian smiled to Heather.

“Your boy is liking me already Miss Heather”

“The kid looks like Uncle Killian. What am I missing or are you keeping secrets from me now Uncle?”

“Can we talk later Jane?”

“Fine. I’ll be in the car” She smothered and left them.

“Miss Heather, I really don’t think it’s a great for you to leave”

“I wasn’t leaving” She lied.

“This is an airport”

“Yeah and I like staying at the airports” 

“Heather look, I’m sorry about everything going on right now”

“Can I just go back to Russia please? I really wanna go home.  I can’t do this with you guys. I really can’t” 

“What about the kid?” Sophia asked.

“What about the kid?” Heather responded.

“He’s Killian son and you just can’t take him back. He has to spend some time with his father” Sophia said and Heather stared disappointedly at Killian.

“Why are you so dumb and stupid” Heather chuckled at Killian.

“I’m sorry about all of this inconveniences Heather. I just don’t know what to do”

“You are a boss and bosses controls people and thing but you, you only keep quiet and let your sister run how you live your life”

“Excuse me?” Sophia scoffed imperceptibly.

“Yeah that’s how everything in Strings works. You control everything”

“Miss Heather, you are getting provoked and I don’t know why”

“See? You stopped talking and she’s now the one talking” Heather stared at Killian.

“I don’t….”

“What? You want me to live in the same roof with Riley your favorable fiancée? That’s bullshit to me” she interrupted Killian.

“Miss Heather, we want you to know that we care about your feeling and the pains you got into five years ago but right now, we need you to listen”

“We might have quite a solution to this but you need to cope along with the plans and solutions”

“I can’t do what doesn’t suit me. Just know this and leave my life alone. I have a business to run in Russia” She blurted and turned to leave. 

“Come on Harry”  

“She owns it” Killian said slowly and Heather paused.

“What are you doing Killian?” Sophia tried to stop him. Heather turned, staring at him directly in the eyes.

“She owns everything. The building, the clothes, me, everything. It all belongs to her” Killian said slowly.

“Fuck!” Sophia said slowly and headed out of the airport.

“I’m gonna wait in the car” she added and left. Heather was still staring at Killian.

“What do you mean?”

“I don’t own Strings Clothing. I’m just an actor acting as the boss of everything?”

“How did this happen?” She asked slowly.

“Five years ago. December, I got blackmailed but Riley and her father saved the company on one condition”

“That you marry Riley?”

“Now the company is signed under the Chang’s family” Killian chuckled lightly.

“I’m a failure and I don’t wanna lose you Heather please” 

“Uh! We got a problem. Jane left with the car” Sophia interrupted.
