Azeph had been leaning against the wall watching Elinor dance with Louis as if they had been doing it for a long time. And they probably did.

Their movement were in sync and their dace skills were extraordinary. They stole the eyes of everyone on that gace floor. Including the headmaster who stopped talking to his companion and watched them with an interested smile.

Azeph knew that this was a good thing, that this would dissipate any rumors about the two of them for the time being, but there was no helping the pang of jealousy that prickled his heart.

Those two were like brother and sister, their bond was so clear and strong that Azeph didn't have any doubt about it. But in his possessive and obsessive mind, Elinor was finally his and he was having a hard time standing back and seeing her with someone else.
