My Master

Chris POV:When we got to the mansion. "Bring the girl" I ordered and she was bought in front of me. Her eyes were glued to the floor. She looked too dirty and tattered."Of what use will you be to me?" I asked."I work in the farm ,barn or stables anywhere, master." she replied. Hump."That's the type of life you live and you still want it?" I asked "I.....didn't choose it but I won't run away from it, I just.... I don't want to die" she answered. She was trying to be brave but her hands and legs were shaking.I like her spirit,she reminds me of my younger self but I won't tell her that ."Take her to the stables." I ordered."Yes master." Ezra's POV:Gloria taught me how to clean the mansion,and how to act in the mansion and in the evening I went to see Gina and the rest of the slaves they were happy for me that I was no longer a slave and after spending a lot of time with them I retired to bed,I was so tired but I was happy as well I hope things get better for me,I want a bright future one that is full of happiness and no pain or sadness or death ,I just wanted to be happy ,I guess this is a good start. For two weeks Gloria taught me how to clean the mansion. I was a quick learner and so I got better at it that I didn't need assistance anymore and I did it alone.I was proud of myself for being this quick in grasping all she taught me. Gloria has been so helpful to me since I met her. She is also sweet and kind, unlike some people I have had an encounter with. She doesn't judge and treats me with respect. She taught me so well that I learned everything fast,she paid attention to every detail and corrected me nicely

Ezra's POV: Working and making a living staying here is the best option for now and I have Gina and Gloria and the rest of the slaves nothing can go wrong at this point. I just wanted to stay here. I have made friends already. The connection I had with the slaves is not one that I want to let go of so easily,they reminded me of my family. Our bond was what kept us together despite everything ,and seeing that bond here made me get attached. I was told the master doesn't take bed mates and he doesn't give out any if His slaves or servants, that calmed me down so I am on a safe side. Ezra's POV:After the day's work,we were paid because it was a new month.I was so happy that I got my pay. Having money in my hand made me happy. I have been paid for six months,but I have never left the house before,since the maids are always busy and no one was allowed to leave the mansion unless the head maid allowed it,and getting permission from her was something no one has ever achieved. Gloria gave me her dress to wear so that I could follow her to the market to get some stuff for her family.
