"I have to go check on one of the new warehouses. They are about to start moving some of the products."

"I have somewhere else to be at the moment, I just decided to check in before heading out too."

Armando responded as we both walked out of the room, I could see Clara staring at us from her desk with disgust.

Her countenance caused me to give a smile as we stepped into the elevator.

"Has he come to see ever since the other day, Damien?"

The question sparked a different kind of emotion in me as I hesitated to answer at first, reminiscing how I stood up to the man who hurt me the most.

"He hasn't and why do you ask?"

I responded with a question as I was curious what could have led to Armando asking me such.

"I mean ever since you ditched him like that, it would only be fair if he tries again to get you to listen to him after failing the first time."
