MICHIGAN

I picked up the call but because it rang for a while before it ended. Why was it still dark everywhere? Maybe because of the curtains. I had to carry my heavy body out of bed to my window.

I opened the curtain but outside it was still dark. I turned and looked at the walk clock staring at me and it was just past 4:00 a.m.
