Chapter 22: Red moon

Irene came out of her old memories, anxiously watching the bright, round red moon glow against the black sky. A night sky with a bright moon but extremely dark and scary. The strange thing was that even though there weren't any clouds, the light from the stars couldn't be seen, as if all of them had lost their light. This represented a clear loss and disorientation.

Irene called for a bodyguard to come with her. She ordered:

"You should approach the person in that cage right now. No matter how you do it, make him faint or take him somewhere else and let him go. Prevent that person from getting a chance to join the fight. Otherwise, from this night on, war will no longer be merely a matter between two countries."

"I have understood what you mean, Madam."

Before the bodyguard left, Irene further instructed:

"Absolutely don't let anyone find out about this. And also… Be careful and take good care of yourself."
