Chapter 4: Blood Moon

When there is only the three of them, Alpha Broderick sighed before sitting on the altar's stair.

“Honey your decision is right, she's our daughter, we can't just banished her because she's wolf less” Luna Dianne comforted patting Alpha Broderick's shoulder.

“I know, I swore to protect our daughter. There's nothing to worry about” Alpha Broderick muttered glancing towards Princess Hana's direction. “What are you feeling?”

“I-I'm fine. Sorry for ruining the pack's reputation” Princess Hana replied from his father's question while lowering her head.

“Don't be sorry, being wolf less doesn't mean you're not going to get your wolf. It just takes time” Alpha Broderick said patting her head gently.

Princess Hana nodded her head but was still lowered. Alpha Broderick and Luna Dianne look at each other before sighing. “You need to rest now, don't take to heart what happened today. Tomorrow will be different, trust me” Alpha Broderick stated towards Princess Hana in comfort.

Luna Dianne then escorted their daughter to her room making sure she'll take her rest.

The next day, rays of light shone brightly coming from the window of the room. Princess Hana woke up with her tired body before walking out. A sweet scent of food entered her nose making her eyes open wide.

She immediately rush over to the dining area where she saw her father sitting on his chair reading a book while her mother was putting food on the table. They both notice her and smiled.

“Good morning sweetie, come and have a sit. I've cooked your favorite” Luna Dianne said warmly calling her to take a sit.

Princess Hana smiled happily before walking towards the table and took a sit. She was happy, it was such a wonderful day having dinner with her family.

“Good morning mom, Good morning dad, you two are the best!” She happily stated, her smile was so bright as if what happened yesterday was just a dream. “Oh wow! My favorite.. huh? This looks different mom?”

“Of course sweetie, I've applied some special ingredients in it. Try it” her mother replied while raising her chin.

Princess Hana smiled before putting a spoonful of food in her mouth. Her action made her mother chuckle in happiness while her father smiled faintly behind the book.

“So how's your sleep?” Her father asked after putting the book he's reading on the table.

“It's nice and cozy” Princess Hana replied difficultly as her mouth was stuffed with food.

“Finish your food first” Alpha Broderick commented smiling bitterly.

The three happily ate their food while having a joyful conversation. It was such a lovely and peaceful scene for a family.

However, the door suddenly burst open as a middle aged man entered the place disrupting their happy meal. He was robust and looks strong, but his face was full of sweat. He look left and right as if searching for something before it landed on Alpha Broderick.

Delight showed on his face as he immediately ran towards his direction. He then kneeled to the floor in respect to his Alpha and reported. “My Alpha, Gamma Sydric and the warriors you've sent to Bright Moon Pack for negotiation has returned”

Alpha Broderick's face doesn't look well, he stared at the person who went in coldly. “Where is your respect Delta Cluxx? You only have that trivial thing to report and you barge in our place just to tell that?!”

Alpha Broderick said in anger, their happy meal just got disrupted by such meager information. “Beta Jack must have been so lenient on you that's why you're showing such misconduct”

Delta Cluxx face whitened in horror, he hastily bowed his head and begged. “P-please forgive me Alpha, I.. I was ordered that it was urgent..”

Alpha Broderick stare at Delta Cluxx before calming himself. His timing was just so bad, disrupting their meal which made him lost his cool. “Alright, tell me what's so urgent about Gamma Sydric's return?”

“G-Gamma Sydric... H-He's heavily wounded! And the 10 warriors he brought with him... only t-three of them... only three of them managed to return!” Delta Cluxx relayed as he was shaking uncontrollably, not in fear but in rage.

Alpha Broderick's face darkened before standing up from his seat. “Take care of our daughter” he sent to Luna Dianne through mind link before leaving the place. Delta Cluxx don't have anything to do and followed after Alpha Broderick.

“Mom let's take a look” Princess Hana stated standing up from her sit.

“No. Let's stay here”

“But Mom, Gamma Sydric has been so good to me”

“He's still alive so don't worry, just finish your food first okay?”

Princess Hana look towards the door before nodding her head, her mother won't allow her to leave and could only sit on her chair.

“Why are you not eating your food?” Luna Dianne ask looking at Princess Hana in confusion, she personally cooked it as she know it was her favorite.

“I've lost my appetite”

'Sighs' Luna Dianne could only sigh inwardly by her daughter's response.

Alpha Broderick finally arrived at the treatment house, it was a tall and wide building where werewolf who expertise in medication resides helping those wounded warriors and subjects of the pack.

Behind Alpha Broderick was Delta Cluxx who then lead the way where Gamma Sydric was.

After walking for several minutes, Alpha Broderick finally saw a group of doctors of their pack surrounding a bloodied person. It was none other than Gamma Sydric who look weak and breathing heavily.

A few meters away from where Gamma Sydric was lying, three burly men could be seen. One of them was motionless while the other two was on the same situation as Gamma Sydric.

When Alpha Broderick saw their appearances, his heart couldn't help but tighten. It was his loyal subject that followed his order, and this happened to them because of him.

But he had to stay strong though he felt saddened, as a warrior and a leader, he have to show everyone that he's fine. “How's the patient's condition?” he ask towards the doctor checking Gamma Sydric.

“He's fine, with his current healing ability, his wound will probably heal in approximately 3 day's” the doctor replied respectfully.

“A.. Alpha..”

“I am here, what is it? Do you have something to say?” Alpha Broderick asked hearing Gamma Sydric calling him.

“B.. Bright Moon Pack.. t.. they've colluded with..” Gamma Sydric spoke with much difficulty but what he said afterwards made everyone angry. “.. with those filthy Blood Moon!”
