Alpha King and Jack used to share a common belief and aspiration was to give all they had to the wolf society. But things had changed now, Alpha King was still confident with his aspirations but Jack was no longer the same.

What caused him to change was a mystery.

There were many reasons why Jack changed. Many times for the same reason, some people change in the good direction and some people change in the bad direction. Whatever caused Jack to change, it made him a bad werewolf.

I wondered if it was the sudden death of his beloved wife that caused him to get a great shock and go the wrong way? But his wife was harmed by those who always opposed the laws of wolf society. He should hate them, not follow them and become part of them and try to harm his best friend.
