The Alphas' Party

Lona's POV

"But how? How can I get his permission?" I sighed. "How can I meet him?"

Alpha King was the king of werewolves, he was the most powerful Alpha and of course the most difficult werewolf to meet.

How could I meet him when I didn't even know where the werewolves were currently living.

The forests were extremely large, if there were no clues, finding the wolf packs was like finding a needle in a haystack.

Dad's solution was very good but hard to do. When I returned to the wolf pack, I didn't need to hide the truth about who I was and also I didn't have to live in fear but meeting Alpha King and getting his consent was not easy.

It was hard for a normal werewolf to meet an Alpha King, let alone a werewolf who was not accepted by any pack like me.

My father was confused by my question. Over the past hundred years, my family had had no contact with any wolf packs so he didn't know how to find the wolf packs, let alone the Alpha King.

"There will be a way." Mom quickly reassured Dad and me.

I really wanted to believe her, but I was afraid of having hope and then being disappointed.

"I have a solution." A male voice came from outside the door.

The three of us turned our heads in the direction of the voice.

That was Uncle David.

"You're back!" I happily ran over and hugged Uncle David.

Uncle David loved me very much, when I was a child he often helped me hide the mistakes I made. Every time I had a problem, he always helped me.

Uncle David worked far away, he only came home twice a year. Every time he came back he brought me a lot of gifts.

At this time, too. Both of his hands were holding gift bags, so he couldn't hug me tightly.

"Dear niece!" He smoothed my hair to the sides. "I have a way to help you meet the Alpha King."

Uncle David said slowly. The joy of seeing Uncle David again made me forget all the troubles that I always thought about. When Uncle David mentioned this, I couldn't help but sigh.

"Why are you back at this time?" I asked, confused.

Uncle David just came home last month, normally he wouldn't be back for at least half a year.

"Because I'm worried about you, my beloved niece!" Uncle David said sweetly.

I sighed, my whole family was worried for me. I didn't want to make them sad.

"Stop sighing!" Mom said. "You've been sighing and frowning repeatedly, if you continue like this you'll be older than me."

I bowed my head slightly.

"Actually, in recent years, I've had contact with several wolf packs." Uncle David said slowly.

Mom, Dad, and I all looked at Uncle David in amazement. We didn't expect Uncle David to hide such an important thing.

"I'll explain this later.” Uncle David said nonchalantly.

Dad and Uncle David walked over to the sofa. Uncle David sat down and continued talking.

"The current Alpha King is very kind and judicious, he will not abandon any werewolves."

I was still stuck in the same place while Uncle David was talking. Mom quickly pulled me to the sofa and forced me to sit down.

"Alpha King is a respectable man." Uncle David added. "If Lona can prove she's a werewolf with diligence and be willing to contribute to the pack, he'll accept Lona."

I listened to Uncle David's words, sighing in my heart.

I was a really energetic person, I worked hard and studied hard but I was not sure if I was a werewolf with enough skill and energy. The most difficult thing was that I didn't know what I could do to contribute to the wolf pack.

Their lives were different from human lives. I was not even sure I could adapt to life in the wolf pack.

"Uncle David, I'm not sure." I said bewildered.

I couldn't be myself in human society but I was not sure if I could be me in the wolf pack?

"If Alpha King accepts you, he will definitely give you a dedicated instructor, so you don't get lost." Uncle David patted me on the shoulder to comfort me. "But Alpha King is very strict. You will be trained very severely to become a werewolf."

"Train?" My mother asked.

"That's right! All werewolves have to train from a young age. Lona has never trained so if she's accepted by a pack she'll have to practice a lot to keep up with other wolves."

"It's okay, I can." I said firmly. "The important thing is how can I meet the Alpha King and get his permission?" I asked.

Actually, I had no confidence that I could live well in the pack and undergo rigorous training like military training, but if I didn't show confidence, Mom would be very worried about me.

"The Alphas' party every five years will be held next week. I have a friend who is in charge of the party. He'll take you there.” Uncle David said. “I also have a friend who is a beta of the Tsunami pack. As long as Alpha King agrees to let you join the werewolf community, he will ask Alpha of the Tsunami pack to let you join their pạck. However, it's up to you whether you can come into close contact with the Alpha King and get his pẻmission to join the werewolf community."

"If you are familiar with the beta of the Tsunami pack, can you directly ask him to let me become a member of his pack, without having to ask the Alpha King?"  My eyes lit up, the thought of not needing to approach the Alpha King made me so much happier.

"Things are not so easy, our ancestors had conflicts with other werewolves. Without the permission of the Alpha King, no wolf pack would dare to let you join their pack." Uncle David sighed.

"I got it!" I choked.

This was my only chance, I had to take it.
