Blake's POV

“What's all this?” I frowned, staring at the documents on the table.

I picked one up, staring at it in disgust. “What the hell is this?”

“A little thing called precautions,” Xavier replied smugly. “Just a reminder that this is a business deal and nothing more.”

My blood boiled just hearing his voice.

I still couldn't believe I'd kissed him. Everything was moving too fast, and I was kind of nervous.

  • I'm not a boy, and the rival hockey captain knows.    The guilt behind his smile.

Blake's POVI slapped the alarm clock's switch and sat up, stretching my arms above my head. Then I climbed out of bed and walked over to the windows.“Morning, sunshine,” I greeted, drawing the curtains aside.“Fuck,” he groaned, using his pillow to shield his eyes from the blazing sunlight.“Don't you have a test or something this morning?” I asked, pulling the sheet away from his body.“That's tomorrow, bitch,” he groaned.“Either way, you're late for class.” I shrugged. “I'm having breakfast at the cafeteria, so you don't need to cook anything.”“Yeah, like we have another fucking choice,” he replied weakly.I smiled and rushed into the bathroom to get ready. After taking a shower, I quickly threw on some plain clothes and stood in front of the mirror, trimming my hair to the right length.Jason had also finished dressing and was standing in the corner, rummaging through his backpack.“Have you seen my keys?” Jason asked, looking around.I walked over to my drawer and pulled out h

Everything was moving too fast, and I was kind of nervous. There were a lot of people in that place, and it wasn't exactly the kind of place for people like me. The place looked like somewhere people still discriminated against gays. So, imagine being forced to create a scene there.I was fully prepared to spend the night in jail. Luckily, the people at his table walked out without sparing me a second glance.Jason scoffed loudly, pushing the papers back toward him. “It's just a fucking deal. Why do you need a lawyer and this much paperwork?”“I did what you asked me to do,” I said, barely able to contain my anger. “You asked me to come

  • I'm not a boy, and the rival hockey captain knows.    The boyfriend deal.

Xavier's POV.I kept checking my phone every chance I got. There was still no message from that tiny little girl. She must have thought I was bluffing when I threatened to report her to the school and make sure she gets sued by the team for Voyeurism.Yes, I was that petty.I don't have a personal problem with her. She was good at what she did. The game and pretending to be a boy for over a year and no one suspected anything.Seriously, were they that stupid? I wouldn't change in front of someone who wouldn't change in front of me. I wouldn't even let them in the locker room. But the team was just as ridiculous as this school.Thank God, my coach fought for me to remain on their team even after my father transferred me.My father hated hockey. He wanted me to take up the family's company, and lead the company into a billion dollar company, but after he divorced my mother and got custody of me, my grandfather saved me before my father turned me into a heartless prick. My grandfather wa

  • I'm not a boy, and the rival hockey captain knows.    His request

Blake's POVIt had been three days, and nothing had changed.Which meant Xavier hadn't said anything. But I was far from relieved. Why hadn't Xavier said anything? He had nothing to lose from this. Nothing to gain either. He was just being an asshole.I was so scared that I couldn't attend classes or even leave my room. Jason was also looking over his shoulder everywhere we went.I had assured him that I would take the fall, but he insisted on staying beside me through everything.Loyal, but stupid.I scrolled through the school gossip blog every time my phone beeped, but there was nothing about me.Except the rumor that Roman's girlfriend had been hooking up with another member of the team—allegedly. And nine out of ten rumors on that blog turned out to be true.Poor Roman.I was still scrolling through my phone when Jason stepped inside.“We've got a problem,” he announced, quietly shutting the door behind him. “I met Roman.”“Yeah, I heard,” I said. “Natalie cheated on him with Gre

Blake's POV“We have an emergency,” I announced, slamming the door behind me.Jason looked up from his phone, his brows raised. “What’s up, Blake?” he asked. “You didn’t pick up your call last night, and the guys said you left the party. I was worried.”I paced around the room, still trying to remember how I ended up in a stranger’s bed wearing someone else’s clothes.Did I get drunk? How could I have been that careless? No. I didn’t. I shouldn’t have been careless.Either way, what happened last night?Did we have... sex?!I screamed, pulling at my hair.“Hey!” Jason shouted. “Are you okay?”I didn’t stop pacing.“He knows,” I revealed, my voice unsteady. My heart was beating so loudly and hard that I was convinced the people next door could hear it.“Who knows?!” Jason demanded, already panicking.I turned to him, tears streaming down my cheeks. “I don’t know his name,” I said. “I just grabbed my clothes and bolted.”“You grabbed your clothes?”I stopped and turned toward him.I swa

  • I'm not a boy, and the rival hockey captain knows.    Beneath the jersey.

Blake's POV.The party was so loud that I was still surprised that I could hear the wet, smooching sound from the assholes kissing aggressively by the wall.Music thumped through the walls. The red and blue light lit up the place as people danced with each other.“You should've seen his face when Blake dodged him,” one of them said, laughing. “Dude looked lost.”“That shot though,” another said. “Right in the corner.”I smiled a little, but I didn't say anything. I just let them talk. The less I talked, the more time I bought myself before they figured out my secret. The boys didn't open up to me at first because I was so secretive, so I decided that I had to open up a little to throw them off my back.I went to parties with them. Talked dirty about some girls.Ewww.I did everything guys did. All I wanted was to play hockey. I was good at it, but the coach wouldn't let girls on the team. They didn't in high school either, and it wasn't anything serious.Pretending to be a boy was the
