This has been the most confusing day ever. I have no idea what runs through the head of my boss. Why would he even sp… punish me like that? Is that something he usually does to his employees? A frown falls on my lips with that thought. I don’t want him to do this to other employees. I want him for myself.

I stiffen at that thought. No. That is not true. Right? I don’t have any kind of claim on my boss. I shake my head and continue cleaning up the mess in the conference room. When I’m finally done the time shows a quarter to five. Over an hour left until I’m to meet with Nate. I sit down and check the email once more and make sure that Mr. Storm’s schedule is correct. Then I knock on the doorframe of Mr. Storm’s office.
