I've been here for 4 fucking years and I haven't found a way out yet. At one point, I was at least able to roam the house, but when I tried escaping, I realized there was a barrier on door to outside. Ava managed to capture and trap me back in my room. I've stayed locked up in here since. Luckily, the room is pretty big. I work out in here every day to keep in shape, and once a week, Ava lets me outside so my wolf can come forward and stretch his legs. She puts a huge ass barrier up for that, a

Cersai's POV:Continued...I blinked, not fully comprehending, while not wanting to as well. What do you mean "help save my daughter?"I stood in silence, staring, when Cimone spoke up, looking at Kwen's mother."I thought you said he was smart? He just short-circuited after a few words."I continued to stare. The Moon Goddess finally nudged me back to life."Say something. Don't make me look bad."She whispered loudly, as she wore a smirk. Reign huffed out a snorted laugh. I looked at him."What's so funny? You haven't done any better."I said."They weren't talking to me, and you're the human."I gave him a deadpan look."Really?"Reign simply looked back at me. I shook my head, turning back to the two women, who shared the same face as my mate."If your asking if I'll protect your daughter, I'll always will. I know of the dangers lurking around her."I said, assuredly. Cimone shook her head before sighing."Sadly, no you don't. Which is why we're here, and why we brought you here."

  • I was never Human   Moon Goddess's plane

Cersai's POV: Back in the Supernatural Council building, while the battle still raged on, James sat beside a still unconscious Cersai...I felt myself coming to. Why was I out in the first place? With that thought, I jolted to an upright position. Underneath my fingers, I gripped the softest, deep green grass. I looked out. I laid in a vast field of lush grass. The ground didn't feel hard, and it radiated warmth. It was night, or something similar to it. The sky was black, but rolled into the mixed colors of purple, lavender and a gentle pink. The sky twinkle with stars. A full moon hid behind fluffy white clouds and the lavender-pink color of the sky. I looked behind me, realizing I leaned up against a large willow tree. When did this get here?"Where are we?" My head snapped to my left, hearing a voice that I knew all too well. "Reign?" I asked aloud the same way I heard his voice. It no longer rested in my head only, but out in the world. He stood apart from me. His huge wol

  • I was never Human   Who will you save

Brandon's POV:I stood with my jaw planted firmly on the ground. My life has been laid out in front of me, in front of everyone. Ava really did all of this. She has single handedly orchestrated the ruins that I now stand in. I remember when Kwen was taken as a child. My mom was adamant that she played a part. I only knew of her having air magic, but she's also a shadow magic wielder. If she has the ability to use dark magic, what other elemental magic can she use? Queen Vespera just called out her use of black magic, and Kwen confirmed it without ever knowing what it was she was confirming. I looked at my daughter. I can only imagine the hurt she's felt and feels. For years what she has known to be wrong--what her own senses has rightly warned her away from--was mocked, ridiculed and ignored.Kwen was right all along.Whenever the spell Ava casted on herself finally wore off, I was hit with a horrendous smell. It almost brought me to my knees. I looked around, believing everyone could

  • I was never Human   Dark magic/Black magic

Kwen's POV: I looked at Ava with a strange look. Her gazed locked onto mine. Before, where there only sat calculation, and something close to respect, a deep seeded hatred slid into place. Suddenly, this foul odor began to permeate and waft in the air. I watched as the older witches began to scent it, too. Queen Vespera's face, along with her people's faces, began to turn up as well. I turned back to Ava, finally understanding something. "You didn't just use magic, did you?" I asked in a low tone. Her eyes narrowed at me. The queen gasped, snapping her gaze back at Ava. "You've been poison by black magic." She announced. My eyes widened. Is that what I've been scenting for years? Was she using black magic this whole time? The older witch women objected the idea hastily. "DO NOT DARE PLACE THAT HORRID NAME ONTO MY DAUGHTER!! SHE IS NOT A BLACK MAGIC USER. SHE IS OF THE CLOVE LINEAGE, AND WOULD NEVER STOOP SO LOW!! SHE'S A SHADOW USER, WHICH MEANS SHE WIELDS DARK MAGIC!!" Ava'

Ava's POV:Continued...I watched the woman closely. She wasn't being dramatic or trying too hard, which unnerved me because that meant she was being serious. She studied me back. Her eyes scanned me all over, her eyes squinted."How old are you? About 19-20?"She asked. The question caught me off guard. I blinked."Uh, 20."She nodded."Interesting. You're very powerful to be so young."She stated. I didn't reply."But I can tell that your current power level is not enough for whatever you're trying to do."My eyes narrowed at her as I folded my arms across my chest."What do you want from me?"She smiled. "What I want is a bit too convoluted for our first meet. What I want from YOU?? I'm sure it's the very thing you want for yourself."I raised a brow."Which is?"I asked."To be the best."I'm not exactly sure who this woman was, but I decided to bit the bullet. I looked around at the area we were in, and knew then that I would hear her out. She had to be powerful to transport us

  • I was never Human   Ava's story

Ava's POV:I grew up in a loving household, where laughter was always heard and felt. My mom spoke often on her grandmother that she adored. She spoken often of her greatness, and how she was the reason we even had a place at Highland pack. If she hadn't saved the alpha of this pack, we would still be roaming, looking for a place to live. She died when I was 4 years old. My mom and grandmother never told me how she died, but I overheard them talking one night in hush whispers. It was then that my journey began. I realized that I was born to correct the wrongs done to us.Flashback...I couldn't sleep, and found myself stumbling through the hall, dragging a small purple blanket behind me. I followed a light that faintly peeked through the crack of an open door. Just as I was about to open it, the voices of my mother and grandmother drifted out towards me. It sounded as if someone was crying."What are we gonna do? What are we gonna tell Ava?"I heard my mother say, mentioning me, her v
