The woman’s moans filled the opulent master bedroom like a symphony of sin. Ronan Sterling didn’t do gentle. He never had. His fingers dug into Serena’s hips as he drove into her from behind with deep, punishing thrusts. The sound of skin slapping skin mixed with her desperate cries.

“Ronan—oh God, yes, just like that!” Serena gasped, her blonde hair a mess as she pushed back against him, chasing her pleasure like the greedy socialite she was.

He smirked coldly, one large hand fisting her hair while the other slapped her ass hard enough to leave a red imprint. “Shut up and take it,” he growled, his voice low and commanding. He fucked her harder, relentless, chasing nothing but release. No emotions. No promises. Just raw, physical relief.

Serena came first, her walls clenching around him as she screamed his name. Ronan followed shortly after with a low, guttural groan, spilling into the condom. He pulled out immediately, discarding it and heading straight for the ensuite bathroom without a backward glance.

“Leave before I’m out of the shower,” he said flatly. “And Serena? Don’t show up unannounced again. I’m not in the mood for repeats.”

She pouted from the bed, but she knew the rules. Ronan Sterling didn’t do girlfriends or attachments. He did sex — hot, dirty, and on his terms.

By the time he emerged, dressed in a tailored black shirt that hugged his broad shoulders and muscular chest, the staff was in full preparation mode. His father’s latest mistake was arriving today. Victor Sterling had married Elena Monroe after a whirlwind romance, and now the woman’s daughter was moving into the family mansion.

Ronan poured himself a glass of aged whiskey, staring out at the private beach below. At twenty-eight, he had built his own tech empire from the ground up. He didn’t need this blended-family circus. Especially not when his father’s business dealings were already under scrutiny.

The crunch of gravel announced their arrival. Ronan watched from the window as the black SUV pulled up.

Elena stepped out first — polished, smiling, clearly thrilled to be Mrs. Sterling now. Then came her daughter.

Lila Monroe.

Ronan’s hand tightened around the crystal glass. She was… unexpected. Long, wavy dark hair that caught the sunlight like silk. A simple white sundress that clung to her slender yet curvaceous figure — full breasts, narrow waist, hips that swayed naturally as she walked. Striking green eyes scanned the massive mansion with a mix of awe and guarded caution. She carried herself with quiet dignity, not the entitled swagger he had anticipated from a gold-digger’s daughter.

Their eyes locked through the glass.

Time seemed to slow. A spark — hot, dangerous, and completely unwanted — jumped between them. Ronan felt it low in his gut, a sudden tightening that had nothing to do with the woman he’d just fucked upstairs.

Lila’s cheeks flushed slightly. She looked away first.

*Good,* Ronan thought. *Keep it that way.*

He downed the rest of his whiskey and headed toward the grand foyer, his expression carved from ice.

“Welcome to the Sterling estate,” he said coolly as they entered, his deep voice cutting through the air. His gaze raked over Lila briefly — dismissive on the surface, but his body remembered that spark. “Try not to break anything.”

Elena laughed nervously. “Ronan, this is my daughter, Lila. Lila, this is Victor’s son.”

Lila lifted her chin, meeting his stare head-on despite the clear tension. “Nice to meet you,” she said, her voice steady but with an edge. “Though from the look on your face, I’m guessing the feeling isn’t mutual.”

Ronan’s lips curved into a mocking smile. “Perceptive. Let’s get one thing clear — this is *my* house. Play nice, stay out of my way, and we won’t have problems.”

Lila’s green eyes flashed with fire. “I’m not here to play games, *stepbrother*. I’m here because I have no choice. So maybe dial back the asshole attitude.”

The air between them crackled. Ronan stepped closer, towering over her. He could smell her light floral scent, see the rapid rise and fall of her chest. Fuck, she was beautiful when she was angry.

“Careful,” he murmured, voice low enough that only she could hear. “You’re in my world now. And I don’t play nice with pretty little intruders.”

Lila’s breath hitched, but she didn’t back down. The tension between them was thick enough to cut — hate mixed with something far more dangerous.

Something that felt like the beginning of an obsession.

As Elena called for the staff to bring in the luggage, Ronan turned away, but not before his mind already started wondering what Lila Monroe would sound like moaning *his* name.

This was going to be hell.

  • ILLICIT OBSESSION    Hidden Flames

The next morning dawned bright and cruelly normal. Sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Sterling mansion, making the marble floors gleam like nothing sinful had happened the night before. Lila stood in the kitchen again — different day, same nervous energy — stirring a cup of coffee she didn’t even want. Her body still ached in the best ways: faint bruises on her hips from Ronan’s grip, a delicious soreness between her legs, the memory of his voice growling “mine” in her ear.She hadn’t slept much. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw Serena’s shocked, furious face in the doorway. The text message burned in her mind.*You think you can steal my man and get away with it?*Lila shivered, pulling her robe tighter around her body. She was wearing nothing underneath — a silent, dangerous choice after last night. Part of her hoped Ronan would find her like this. The rest of her knew they were playing with fire.Heavy footsteps sounded behind her. She didn’t need

  • ILLICIT OBSESSION    After The Storm

The silence in the parlour after Serena slammed the door felt heavier than the ocean waves crashing outside. Lila’s heart was still racing, her body slick with sweat and the evidence of what they’d just done. She was straddling Ronan on the couch, his cock still buried deep inside her, pulsing with the aftershocks of his release. Her thighs trembled. Her mind was a whirlwind.Serena knew. Serena had *seen* them. And worse — she remembered Lila from college.Lila tried to pull away, but Ronan’s hands tightened on her hips, holding her in place. His grey eyes were dark, stormy with a mix of possessiveness and something softer, almost vulnerable.“Don’t,” he murmured, voice rough. “Not yet. Let me feel you a little longer.”She shivered at the words, at the way his thumbs stroked soothing circles on her skin even as his cock twitched inside her. “Ronan… she’s going to destroy us. She knows me from college. She said you had a thing for me back then. Is that true?”He leaned his forehe

  • ILLICIT OBSESSION    Caught In The Flames

The parlour door creaked open like a gunshot in the silence.“What!!!”Serena Voss stood frozen in the doorway, her perfectly manicured hand still gripping the handle. Her blonde hair was styled in loose waves, designer dress hugging her figure, but her face was a mask of pure shock that quickly twisted into rage. Her eyes darted from Ronan—still buried deep inside Lila from behind—to Lila’s flushed face, messed hair, and the undeniable evidence of what they had been doing.Lila’s heart stopped. She tried to pull away, but Ronan’s grip on her hips tightened possessively for a split second before he slowly withdrew, shielding her body with his own as he yanked up his sweatpants.“Serena,” Ronan said, his voice dangerously calm, like ice over steel. “This isn’t what it looks like.”Serena let out a bitter, disbelieving laugh that echoed through the luxurious parlour. “Not what it looks like? I just walked in on you fucking your stepsister doggy-style on the couch like animals! In your f

  • ILLICIT OBSESSION    Kitchen Flames

The morning light poured through the tall kitchen windows like liquid gold, casting long shadows across the marble floors of the Sterling mansion. Lila stood at the massive island, her bare feet cool against the stone. She had thrown on an oversized soft t-shirt that skimmed her thighs and a pair of loose cotton shorts—comfortable armor against the chaos in her head. Her long wavy dark hair was twisted up in a messy bun, a few rebellious strands framing her face. She moved with deliberate focus, cracking eggs into a glass bowl, whisking them with more force than necessary. The rich scent of butter melting in the pan filled the air, mixing with vanilla extract and fresh berries she had pulled from the fridge. Cooking was her attempt at normalcy, a way to occupy her hands and silence the memories that refused to fade: Ronan’s body pinning her to the counter, the sharp sting of his palm, the way he had filled her so completely she had forgotten every reason why this was wrong. The whisk

  • ILLICIT OBSESSION    Two Days Of Temptations

Lila woke up aching in places she didn’t want to name. The silk sheets felt too soft against her bruised hips and the tender skin between her thighs. Every time she shifted, she remembered the slap of skin, Ronan’s filthy words, the way he’d filled her so completely she’d screamed his name like a prayer and a curse.*Never again.* She repeated it like a mantra while showering, while dressing in a conservative cream blouse and high-waisted skirt that hid the faint fingerprints on her hips. She spent the day locked in her room, sketching furiously—dark, stormy pieces that looked suspiciously like a certain grey-eyed devil. When the staff knocked for dinner, her stomach twisted. The formal dining room glowed under the chandelier. Victor sat at the head like a king, Elena beside him radiating new-money satisfaction. Ronan lounged across from Lila’s assigned seat, black shirt sleeves rolled up to reveal corded forearms. His piercing gaze tracked her from the moment she entered.“Glad you

  • ILLICIT OBSESSION    THE LINE WE CROSSED

“What!!! How dare you.”Ronan’s grey eyes blazed with fury and something far darker, far more dangerous. The red handprint on his cheek burned bright against his skin. For a split second, the kitchen fell into stunned silence, broken only by their ragged breathing. Then he moved like a predator. His hand shot out, fingers wrapping around Lila’s wrist in an iron grip. He yanked her forward, slamming her back against the cold granite counter. The water bottle clattered to the floor, forgotten. His body pinned hers completely, all hard muscle and scorching heat, his erection already thick and insistent against her stomach.“You hit me,” he growled against her ear, voice low and lethal. “In *my* fucking house. You’ve got some nerve, little stepsister.”Lila’s heart hammered wildly. She shoved at his bare chest, nails digging into his skin. “Get the hell off me, you arrogant prick—”His mouth crashed down on hers, devouring the protest. The kiss was violent, all teeth and dominance. His to
