1: A scumbag deserves a sweet revenge - and I'm a pro!

"So, you mean, if that scumbag of a tycoon hadn't approached and seduced my sister…Then my family's fashion company would still be No.1 in the country and my sister, still sane - Right?"

Kate valentine sat casually- her legs firmly crossed - on the ash-colored cushion which was situated in the middle of the sitting room of a casual-looking rented apartment building. She had her fixed attention on the nerdy-looking girl in glasses who served her a cup of hot tea on the sauce. The girl had placed it on the circular table before Kate. 

"Well…you can put it that way" The nerdy girl replied taking a seat on the couch which sat opposite Kate. She sighed adjusting her glasses.

Kate narrowed her eyes down to the hot tea before her. Slightly biting her lower lips that were deprived of lipstick. She was blonde, her eyes blue. with her slightly petit body shape clothed in a denim jacket and Jean trousers, and her light-skinned face and Sharp jawline which didn't seem to have any paint applied, This lady' seemed to not be a beauty addict in paint nor a fashionista. She was just pretty and elegant-looking.

She leaned forward with her hand out as she grabbed the teacup by its handle and brought it up to he lips. She blew a few rounds to soothe the temperature and then took a reluctant sip. 

Kate didn't seem to be focused on the tea in her hand, her mind seemed to be elsewhere. And where her mind lingered wasn't a nice place.

"My sister is too naive" Kate sighed" How can she fall head over heels for just any man? And this scumbag has the guts to seduce my sister and steal the family's fame from right under her nose. It's pardonable if he breaks her heart only…but he managed to send her to the psychiatric hospital…and with a big case as bringing down our family's blooming business just like that? I'm afraid it's beyond pardon"

"so…what are you going to do?" The nerdy girl asked curiously.

Kate slowly dropped the cup of tea back on the table with a fixed grin on the corner of her lips "Easy - Get into his company, get close to him, seduce him, make him suffer for his sins, break his pathetic heart in love, bring down his company and the bring back ours to the top - Lucy my dear, the path of revenge is as easy as these. "she had her confident gaze on Lucy.

Lucy seemed panicked on hearing her words "what? Don't you think it's too dangerous?….and…. what if you get caught?" Her eyes widened in shock.

Kate confidently leaned back on the cushion."There's no 'dangerous' in my dictionary. …..and besides, he was the one who first played this heartless game of hearts, I'm simply going to show him how it's done" She grinned" And you….I should be mad at you. Something as big as this happened to my sister and your best friend and you didn't tell me?  If I hadn't heard it in the news about our Great fashion empire Falling. I wouldn't have known"

"oh don't blame me, well… Your sister insisted I don't tell you. She knows how rebellious and stubborn you are and also knew she'd do something like this …so she didn't want you knowing she prefers your peaceful study over there in china…..cause their love for international news…now that you're back, she'll misunderstand that I told you" Lucy stated.

"How long did she plan on keeping it from me?"  Kate picked up the cup again " I'd eventually know" she took a long sip " By the way,  how's my sister? You said she was love stroked and now I'm a psychiatric hospital"

Lucy sighed helplessly, looking at her nails "  it's been a month and a half since all these happened….. And I don't think she's getting any better." she looked up at Kate who was still busy drinking from her teacup. " And although she seems pretty much normal, and also talks normally, she's not okay.  She always gets over-emotional and breaks stuff when the topic of love is brought up. And sometimes breaks down. It's like a love trauma." She looked around as if she was looking for something and then continued.

"This is her first love….and she's too attached to him"

Kate had finished up the tea and slowly dropped it back. " Poor Emy, I guess I'll have to visit her - and you will…. you'll have to help me research on that company that that scumbag runs. I think I'll have to take action as soon as possible"  she said starting to her feet.

"Are you still doing this?" Lucy Asked looking as she got up. 

"Of course, I've already made up my mind on my way back from China today. And I'm not changing it" she gave Lucy a slight wink " So do well to send them to me as soon as possible, glasses"   She teased picking up her car keys and sunglasses by her side.  "See ya"

Lucy simply sat there watching her leave. She knew too well that once she had made up her mind. There was no way of stopping this crazy young lady. She simply got up to take back in the empty cup of tea.

The purple car pulled over before a large entrance with a sign above that read

"WELCOME TO FERNS PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL"

kate who was in the car pulled down the driver's seat window as she also pulled down her sunglasses. She stared at the sign for a moment imagining how her genius, gentle, mannered, naive elder sister ended up in the psychiatric hospital. For Love, it was indeed pathetic.

Covering up her eyes with the sunglasses once again, she drove right into the widely opened gate under the sign and into the spacious environment.

After packing her car neatly at the parking space, Kate got out of the car slamming the door Close with a hand and with the other hand pulled off her glasses. She looked around at the scene of patients and visitors and some nurses in certain areas and then headed right into the hospital.

She walked up to the nurse receptionist who was done directing a visitor to a room." Excuse me, I'm here looking for the room number to miss Emily valentine" she said. She was certain she knew Emily. Who doesn't know the new CEO of the best fashion company in the country?! But before the crisis now.

Although Kate was confident about Emily being known, she too was aware of herself.

"And… who are you?" The receptionist asked the question Kate was expecting to hear.

Although Kate was a part of the valentine's family, the second and last of the two daughters of Mr and Mrs valentine. She was still an unknown figure to the family by outside eyes. No one even knew she was the so-called second daughter of the valentines. All had even concluded that there was only one daughter and Kate didn't care less.

For Kate, this was what she wanted. Right from a young, she showed no interest in their fashion world. All she wanted was to be free and follow her dreams,  of Languages. she was a language enthusiast who loved studying languages.

Despite her parent's persuasion into showing a bit of interest in the fashion world, she only withdrew further from her family. Not attending family conference interviews and taking photos for magazines. She only kept a low profile since young. Not want the lifestyle of her family,  but wanted a free and carefree one with her dreams. She was indeed a rebellious one, that even her parents gave up and let her be. She then began traveling the world and learning a language. This, for her, was life!

Looking at the clueless receptionist, her lips curled into a smile" I'm a friend" she had to say before the receptionist reluctantly gave her the room number. No.305.

On arriving a room No. 305, she rhythmically knocked trice on the door but came to no reply. She then slowly pushed open the door and walked in.

Emily, dressed in the hospital's outfit, elegantly sat on the bed, on her hand was a cup of tea which she used in soothing her throat. She didn't even look up at who had entered, talk more of saying a word.

Kate too said nothing but went to take a seat on a stool opposite her.  "How are you doing?" She finally asked Emily who was busy with her tea. 

"Why did you return? Did Lucy tell you?" Emily finally spoke up. Her voice was calm.

Kate smiled "No,  she didn't. I heard it from the news and flew back today"  she explained looking at the calm Emily who had just dropped a cup of tea she just finished and took another.

"you do enjoy tea?" Kate asked looking at her. She had to talk about other topics. Recalling Lucy's words on how she would react when the topic of love was brought up.   But another silly part of her teased her interest. All since she' had known Emily. Emily had always been a calm and reserved girl who was considered naive but still was diligent and intelligent.  Kate thought of how she would look when she was aggressive. maybe it'd be a compelling sight.

She hesitated to wait for Emily to give her a reply to her tea question. But came nothing. Naughty Kate thought it'd be fun to tease her for a while.

"Who was that guy you fell head over heels for?"
