Chapter 58

If Devon continued to lash out his emotion toward Diana now, he would lose Alice in the process and it wasn't something worth risking. There was still time to save her, if only he would let go of the tight grip on her neck.

With a brief glance of the pool of blood on the ground, Devon released Diana's precious neck from his deadly grip.

"Something happens to her and you will suffer fate worse than death." Devon stated grimly.

The only reason Devon Diana linger around after what she did and said, was because her life still has value for Alice.

Diana rubbed her sore neck and cleared her dried throat while gasping for air, greedily breathing to fill her empty lungs.

After she felt slightly better, Diana moved closer toward Alice in Devon's arms.

The witch touched the wound and chanted in strange language, a spell. But, after a few seconds, her brows creased unsightly.

Her eyes widened as they traced back to Devon's eyes which were still completely rex, horror filled them.
