Another Lesson

When he left, my parents embrace me.

“We promise you that next year will be better, we will give you the best birthday” my dad said.

I need to change and go to bed early, it’s school tomorrow. I rush into my room and shut the door and the memories of what I and Dean had flushes back into my head.
