MEMORIES OF SKYLAR (2)

END OF FLASH BACK 

" I warned you, not to come along Skylar. I had a feeling that  something was definitely going to go wrong, this people are dangerous, they are  heartless monsters who cares about money and power putting their family last in everything they do" Cassio said a loud angrily with a  hoarse voice. 

" I won't allow you speak like that,  you had better mind how you talk"

" I have had enough, dad! I have had enough of always listening to you, being so obedient to all your evil instructions.

Cassio interrupted his dad, talking back at him for the first time. His dad was speechless not knowing what to say.  " Stop the car, I said stop the car before I burst out your brain!" Cassio shouted at the driver with tears rolling down his cheeks, out of fear the driver had no option but to stop the car. 

" What are  you about to want to do? " His dad asked without getting any response. Cassio  looked at him and opened the door without responding. 

" Cassio where the hell are you going to?" His dad asked shouting.

" It's none of your business." Cassio retorted pointing his index finger towards him.  

He slam the door forcefully walking away as he was crying profusely. He didn't know where he was going. He walked sluggishly as memories of Skylar filled his head,  he screamed loudly.

His dad instructed the driver to keep on following him slowly while the other cars at  the back followed, they were his Mafia crew and also his body guard.  

They were all coming back from the party. Cassio thought he saw a figure lying on the floor but he wasn't sure,  as he got nearer, he noticed a girl was lying on the floor looking lifeless.

" Cassio get into this car now,  this isn't how I raised  you. You have to be strong, she is just a girl. You can get yourself another female best friend" His dad said from the window.

Cassio wasn't even listening to anything he was saying. They  kept on following Cassio at the back. When his dad saw that if they continued like this nothing  was still going to change, he instructed  three  of his men in the other vehicles to make Cassio unconscious and bring him into the car.

As Cassio got nearer to the figure, he saw Skylar on the floor looking lifeless, he ran to get her but he felt someone hit him on his neck and he fell on the floor. 

"Good job guys,  bring him into the car" Cassio dad said smiling.

As they were about to leave, one of the men noticed a girl lying on the floor, he made it known to their boss, which was Cassio's dad. He got out of the car and went towards the girl inspecting her.  

"Put her into the boot ,  she can be useful in the house " He got into the car, poured himself some wine, drinking happily.                                                         

Skylar was laughing boisterously after they came back from the party, she kept on emphazing on how Cassio was over reacting this morning.

She was telling him how she had assured him that nothing was going to happen and here they are save and sound. Cassio laughed at her,  begging her to stop making noise as he was exhausted and needed to rest but instead her voice grew louder.

" I hate you stupid " Cassio said laughing at Skylar.

" I know that and there is absolutely  nothing you can do about it"  Skylar ran to him, tickled him and ran off again.

Cassio who was exhausted just sat on the chair with his eyes closed " Let go out later to get pizza, bills on you  though " Skylar said  walking towards him, patting his head, only Skylar does it well. 

" Fine we would go later,  for now I want to sleep if you don't mind ma'am " Cassio said Walking to lie on his bed. 

"Okay let sleep then" Skylar said jumping on Cassio bed before laying down beside him. His eyes were closed,  she held his nose, forcing him to open his eyes because he wasn't able to breathe properly. 

" You naughty girl, do you want to kill me,  just sleep" Cassio said to her facing the other side of the room. " You are a pain in my ass" he murmured inaudibly, but Skylar heard him.  

She demanded that he repeated what he said but he didn't, she kept on disturbing him until  she was tired. After few minutes,  she was asleep,  Cassio who wasn't able to sleep  yet  turned to look at her, she was fast asleep.

He got a coloured marker and wrote " You are a pain in my ass" on her fore head, he laughed at what he had just done,  he couldn't wait to see her reaction when she wakes up.

 He lay down on the bed gently looking at her until he fell asleep. 

" Cassioooooooooooooooo" Skylar screamed when she woke up and found what he had done.  

Immediately Cassio was awaken by the noise, he jump out of his bed looking confused,  then he saw Skylar looking angrily at him.

He remembered what he had done and  ran off, she ran to lock the door immediately, taking the keys with her and started pursuing him. She caught him and he tried to escape but unfortunately for him he hit his head on the table close to the bed. 

" Cassio, Cassio, Cassio" his dad called him.

Everything became blur,  he couldn't see, but after some minute he was beginning to see clearly. The first person he saw was his dad,  then he looked round looking for Skylar,but he couldn't find her. 

" Where is Skylar dad" he asked, looking so weak. His  dad was confused. Has he forgotten what happened last night or has he lost his memory he thought. 

" Skylar?  You don't remember what  happened last night? " His dad asked him patting him on his head gently.

" I do, Skylar and I were playing in my room when I hit my head on the table and lost consciousness" He said touching the spot where he had hit his head but he couldn't feel any pain.

"Stop touching my head dad,  only Skylar does that well.  You are hurting me" He said to his dad who immediately removed his hand from his hair,  staring out at Cassio.  

He told one of his men to get a doctor urgently. 

The doctor came  urgently as he knew the consequences if he delay for one minute, he will have to deal with Cassio's dad.

Cassio dad was releived immediately the doctor entered, he needed an immediate check up for his son. Cassio tried to leave immediately the doctor entered, he told his dad he was fine and didn't need a doctor but his dad insisted. 

" What is the last thing you remember about Skylar? " The doctor asked him,  holding a jotter to jot down, while he sat beside Cassio  consciously, trying his possible best not to say or do anything to provoke Cassio or his dad. 

"Just go, I told you I am fine" Cassio said getting up to leave, his dad ordered five of his men to hold him down immediately. "

 What's the meaning of all this,  why can't you just let me be, I have had enough of you, your men, your whole Mafia crazy stuff you murderer" Cassio shouted angrily as hot tears rolled down his cheeks.  

He had remembered what happened yesterday, the scene before he hit his head was only a dream he was having while he was still unconscious before he was interrupted by his father.

He wished, he wasn't able to wake up, he should have just remained with Skylar in his dream.
