Chapter 11 Bitter truth

"Amalia?" Mrs. Williams called her by her name to get her full attention as she held onto her cheeks "Listen to me, you have to be strong, for your dad and me...you can't allow this feeling overcome you. you are Amalia Brown, my once confident and strong Miss, don't let your fears get the best of you...you are stronger than this, be you, who can never break down in public...you can't let your stepmother and Dellia see you like this, you have to be strong, your oath to be to survive in this cruel world" Mrs. Williams spoke in a firm tone, trying to bring her to the present and make her see the realities of life. This world doesn't need weak people rather, it needs strong people to survive in it. Weak people are like prey that are exposed to their predators which are the strong and domineering ones and will only end up losing their lives before they know it. She can't let Amalia be prey to those predators rather, she wants her to be the predator and not just any but the superior one.
