Chapter 14 leaving home

It was already midnight when Amalia left her dad's grave back home. The mansion was ghost-silent, she walks silently into the mansion while looking at it as if it was her first time entering it. It didn't feel like the place she's been living in all her life, it felt so different and empty. Not like there was no one living in it but the most precious things that were keeping her here and making it feel like home were no longer there. The emptiness of the house she once called home brought back the feeling of emptiness in her heart, tears rolls down her cheeks as she looks at every corner of the how as if trying to imprint the happiness she once felt.
