Chapter 22

He stepped into a new atmosphere, breathing in the sweet and strawberry fragrances mixed with a few different ones emerging out of the guests standing there, under the large and high ceiling with each other.

Some of them were murmuring into each other’s ears out of their habits while some were looking at the standing in front, with admiration in their gleaming eyes.

He took confident strides, reaching a few people which he knew. Dressed in a shiny black suit, his hair gelled backwards, he got almost each of the girls’ attention in the room. But that did not waver his confidence. He did not even avert his gaze from anyone.

“You may kiss the bride now.” The weak sound somehow reached him. He glanced at the couple as they leaned closer but he averted his gaze when he found his friends waving their hands at him.

He smiled at them, joining them soon. He took a seat there, putting the gift box next to him and then giving his attention back to the couple. They just pulled back, now smili
