“Rebecca,” His soft, low voice in worry fell in her ears. Looking back, she looked at Christian with her sad eyes, but he was only looking at the way down in front of him from where Hazel had disappeared to her room side. “Haze! Slow down!” The beautiful woman yelled from behind, eyes widening as she saw the little girl running away, spilling the chirpy gigglings around which lit up the environment. “Not a kid, I’m not, ma!” She answered, reaching the flower bed and crouching down. “Is that so?” She laughed, approaching the girl and sitting next to her, following her gaze as she found a butterfly sitting on a daisy. The girl seemed lost in admiring the green delicate creature. Her big hazel eyes gleamed and her chubby lips parted. She rested her small palms on her knees and her hand raised carefully, fingers itching to touch its flimsy wings. “No, Haze, you shouldn’t catch a butterfly!” She held her small hand, grabbing her attention. As soon as the little girl faced the young, seductively pretty lady, her braid dangled from the right side which scared the butterfly as she flew away, leaving the kid disappointed. “Hey! Don’t run!” She complained, getting up, and raising her hands toward the sky.

Eyes opened and his face was the first thing she saw before starting the day. The proximity did not seem to trouble her this time because it felt like she expected it as soon as she would open her eyes. She did not feel scared when she saw him. Rather than not knowing why looking at him so closely, it seemed as if she was trying to understand some mystery — which was his face. Many questions were in her mind. She was also surprised to see the concern in his eyes for herself and also a small joy in the corner of her heart because, for the first time, someone made her feel valued; like someone had respected her emotions, her tears, her sorrow and everything that surrounded her like her own distinct atmosphere. Sitting on his comfortable chair, while he was doing his work as diligently as ever, his mobile beeped with the notification bell. He ignored it as usual but after that, it started vibrating continuously, leaving him annoyed. The habit of constantly texting after being ignored by him was only used to be found in Gabriella. He leaned forward to reach the gadget and find a message from the person he expected. It was a picture of which the decoration of the chosen venue she wanted to show him, with a text message in which she asked him about the flowers that needed to be changed if he wanted them to be. Eyes held a slight drop of worry when she peered down at him. His lips connected to hers and sucking them like he yearned them from the depth of his heart, dryness of his throat, and emptiness of his hunger. His intoxicating eyes, covered with those dark eyelashes, hypnotized her to the core — to the point where she knew she would give herself to him any time because the magic of his sweet presence had started to work tremendously, not ready to stop after that. “Really?” Hazel looked at Rebecca, who looked surprised and confused as well. We can expect respect from respected people, after all.” She giggled at the end and then disconnected the line. She put the mobile on the table and sat on a chair. She turned to Hazel and then started speaking though she never looked eager to know about her conversation. “Dear, Marcus and I are invited to a party. Must reach by 7 pm.
