Groaning in pain, she forced her eyes to shoot open. She did not know how much time she had wasted like this and the twinge in her head was not helping her thinking. Eliseva was very much looking forward to the guest coming shortly. It was not that he was going to come for the first time, but his coming every time was the same as coming for the first time. She begged them even in those nightmares, believing that the nightmare was true, but they only laughed at her helplessness, as it had happened in reality, and then she would wake up drenched in sweat gasping for air like a fish outside the sea.
