Her heart started beating like a drum with deep fear between the walls of her chest. And it was beating so loudly that the same pain was felt in her chest and her breathing started slowing down while she was in dire need of breath during that time.

That signature smirk was dangling on his plump lips as if mocking her and his hands were crossed over his chest as he leaned against the frame. His mere appearance was enough to accelerate her heartbeats and then make them crazy.

In such a situation, the only thought that came to her mind was why the earth did not burst and swallow her. Her heart was asking her to be buried there.

“Hi, Hazel.” He pushed himself from the frame and took a step towards her, making sure he locked the door behind him. Here her heartbeats paused for a second in suspense as he started taking his slow and intimidating steps toward her.

“H-Hello, Sir. I-I should l-leave now.” She hurriedly made her way towards the door, praying inwardly that he would move aside
