Bad boy stories were the worst.

A girl, who had been raised and trained well by her parents; a girl who had been taught to be independent and intelligent would meet a damaged boy, who'd make her lose her home training and see her family as the enemy. He'd become possessive over her and she'd allow him to step all over her morals and intelligence while disposing her right to speak for herself and they'll call this love.

These were the worse kind of stories and Isabelle hated them the most.

Bankole seemed to have grown up watching and reading such stories, which was exactly why he had misunderstood her request and gone public. What he had done hadn't been heroic, instead, loud and unnecessary.

Emily should be on her side, instead, her best friend had been touched by the act and said it was more of a reason to date Bankole.
