Chapter 10

(Morrigan’s P.O.V)

Well, that dinner went to hell in a handbasket. I thought to myself.

“You okay over there Luna?” Beta Killian asks.

           We left Rian to his meeting with my father, so Beta Killian escorted me to my bedroom. This was the first time I really got a good look at my mate's right-hand man and I must say, if I wasn't mated to Rian I would totally jump his bones. He has shoulder-length shaggy blond hair with piercing blue eyes which complimented his angular face. He is a muscular man, like Rian, and just an inch or two shorter than him as well. From what I could tell, he was tattooed all over--or at least I assume he was, though all I could see were the tattoos on his hands and the side of his neck at this point.

“Yes, I’m fine, Beta Killian. Just stuck in my head a bit.” I replied.

“There’s no need to be formal with me, Luna, you can just call me Killian.” He sm
