Chapter 46

(Morrigan’s P.O.V)

It’s finally the day of the wedding and the servants around the palace are running around like chickens with their heads cut off, with my mother and the soon-to-be mother-in-laws barking out orders. Winnie, Ilayda, Adelina, and I are all getting ready our parents suite because it’s big enough to fit us, our dresses, and our entourage. The bride's to be are all nervous, I can feel it rolling off of them, but then again, we all are. We’ve not heard anything from Calida, Silas, or Beatrix other than the vision I had of them planning their attack for today.

“You look beautiful, Morrigan,” Winnie states as Catherine finishes with my hair.

I look in the mirror and see the finished product, a beautiful flower crown and my hair in beautiful beachy waves. While Jolene kept it simple with the makeup, a beautiful nude palate with a rose-colored lip. My skin looked sun-kissed and dewy.

“Damn, I look hot.” I say.

The women in the room giggle
