Reconciliation

Aria washes her hand after using the restroom, she looks at herself in the mirror and smiles subtly. So far, tonight has been going great and she has had no regrets coming here. Maybe Xavier was right and there was nothing to be scared about, she had panicked for nothing.

Aria left the guest restroom and headed back to the living room. She was in the hallway on the second floor when she ran into Jimmy. Her heart skipped at the sight of him, it was just the two of them in the hallway.

She sighed and looked down, trying to avoid eye contact with him as they closed in on each other. She had almost walked past him when he grabbed her arm and made her pause. Once again, her heartbeat skipped and she felt goose pimples all over her skin; this was the awkward moment she had been trying to avoid since they got here; being alone with her ex fiancée and former love of her life.

“So you here with Xavier, huh?” he muttered rudely.

Arianna scoffed softly and pulled her arm off his, she sighed and
