Weldon was an honest person. Even though Jackson's words were purely rhetorical, he took them seriously.

Welson yelled at the crowd, "Whoever hit Mr. Enfield, come forward and let me break your limbs."

His words caused laughter. Who would admit to hitting somebody?

"I thought Mr. Enfield was very special! But he just invited a second-rate guy over. This is hilarious."

Hearing the mockery from the onlookers, Theodore felt utterly humiliated. He glared at Jackson and said, "I called you here to help me, not embarrass me!"

Jackson smiled awkwardly, not expecting Weldon to take everything so seriously.

He quickly said, "Mr. Enfield, don't get angry. Weldon is proficient in martial arts. He once killed a tiger with his bare hands. Simply tell him who attacked you and leave the rest to him."

That remark elicited more laughter, but Chad could not laugh. He could see Weldon had formidable martial arts skills and was capable of killing a tiger barehanded.
