Jojo gritted her teeth as she recalled when she got slapped at the Hart Manor.

She had to put a lot of foundation on her face to cover the marks.

Earlier on, Jojo heard from Matilda that Chad was out to deceive the Hawthornes after returning from the Hart family.

Jojo could not wait to expose Chad, so she approached him.

"Chad Jennings. Never thought I'd see you walk out of the Hart Manor alive. I thought they'd beat you to death."

Chad glared at Jojo, then turned to Matilda who stood nearby.

He said calmly, "I cured their father of his sickness. Why would they do that to me? To thank me, Mr. Hart even offered me ten percent of Supreme Financial Group's shares. But I turned it down!"

"Hahaha!"

Jojo burst into laughter.

"Chad, are you crazy? You should know your limits even if you're making up these stories! Do you know how much ten percent of Supreme Financial Group's shares are worth?"

"About 13 billion dollars. That's about the amount written on the contract."
