31. Pieces Of The Puzzle.

Alexandra was having breakfast when she got a call from Darby saying if she wants him to pick her up for the office and she was about to answer when Katrina from behind shook her head.

"But, Katrina. You are not even letting me go to the office. How will I get paid?" she asked stubbornly.

"My dear, as I said. You would have to wait a few days. The city is getting way too dangerous for you."

"Just for me? Not anybody else?" she asked in annoyance and stomped her feet upstairs to her room.

Katrina secretly cast a spell on the house that Xandra can't leave it like this.

She is the only one who can protect the little innocent.

She is too naive for the world where witches and vampires roam around freely.

She doesn't understand but her blood is the only cure for the monsters like them.
