Chapter 42
Latina opened her eyes. It was dark. She felt the familiar emotion swelling inside her. Fear. Everything was black, no colors, no lights, it was fearsome and empty.
‘Where am I?’ she asked herself. She tried to speak but words wouldn’t come out, she could only think what she wished to say.
A freezing hot air touched her. It seeped through directly to her soul like she no longer had her flesh where she usually felt the pain first. The heat and the cold were inflicting her, simultaneously. It was painful, extremely painful. Latina wanted to cry in misery but then again, nothing came out from her mouth. She shifted her hands around, striving to grab something to hold on. Sadly, there was none in nothingness.
