Chapter Seventeen
I get up from the sofa and walk over to stand near Harry, who pushes me so I'm standing behind him, Reece was standing by the door trying to figure out who was on the other side.
"I know you're in there," a voice says which makes Harry and I look at each other, it was Ryan.
"Let him in, we know who it is," Harry says, which makes Reece look at him angrily, it's not like we invited him here.
"You must have not heard me when I said I've got documents I'm not meant to have, so you decide to invite everyone," he says, pulling the key out his pocket opening the door, where Ryan was standing "hurry up, you weren't followed right," he says pulling Ryan in the room, locking the door behind him.

We drive in silence for a few minutes, I didn't know where he was taking me but I didn't really care at this point, he was actually the first to speak. "We'll drive for a while until we find a safe place to stay for the night," he says breaking the silence, I just shake my head continuing to look out the window. Ryan still made sure I was behind him, but even behind him people could get me, I turn so my back was up against his so I knew if someone tried to get me from behind. "Maybe we could take them," I say quietly to Ryan, who interlocked his fingers in mine, both hands. "Whatever happens I'll protect you," he says back as the men on one side move so there was a small walkway, a man in a suit starts to make his way down. As soon as Ryan saw this he pulled me away from the guy once again putting me behind him, so I couldn't fully see the guys face. "Calm down, no one here is gonna hurt you," a mans voice says, as soon as I heard it I recognised it, why does that keep happening?

We follow Taylor up to our bedroom, which was huge, she tells us where everything was before leaving. We follow the annoying women down the hall, who wasn't happy because we'll be 30 seconds late. My arm was linked with Ryan's as we walk very quickly down the hall, at the end of the hall were huge doors that were opened which led into a huge dining hall, once we enter people were already sitting. I could see my parents, my uncle sat with women, who must be his mate and three other young people, one looked around my age, the other two looked a bit younger, I think they were even twins, they must be my uncle's children. "Sorry we're late your majesty, we had an issue with the clothes, didn't we?" She says turning around to look at Ryan and I, but mostly me I went to speak but Ryan stopped me. "Yes we did, but it's all sorted now no harm done," he says knowing what I would have said if he didn't, I felt like throwing my heel at her head.

The cries led me to the ballroom where I stand by the door looking in, my parents and Ryan's parents were in there, Ryan's mum was the one crying. I woke up early, making my way downstairs hoping my parents would be having breakfast, I always miss them as they wake up super early every morning, way before I climb out of my bed. I walk into the dining hall to see them both sitting at the table eating, they look up surprised to see me. "I was worried you would already be gone," I say, holding the teddy behind my back so they couldn't see it. "This is great Savannah, why don't you take a seat and get something to eat? " my father asks with a smile, but I shake my head smiling. "I'm not hungry, I just wanted to show you something maybe you'd be able to remember more about it then I do," I say, they nod as I pull the teddy out from behind my back, they both hold their hands to mouths my mum tearing up.

When I managed to calm down, I explained the whole flashback to Ryan who now was just sat on the bed staring ahead. "You have to tell them," he says looking over at me, after a while of just silence. "Ryan I can't do that, she's Jessie's wife," I say, pointing out the obvious in the situation, but he just stands up. "It's because she's Jessie's wife is why we have to tell them," he says without warning he walks towards the bedroom door, I run after him shouting his name but he doesn't stop and continues to walk downstairs. "Where's the king and queen?" He asks a butler as he gets to the bottom of the stairs, while I was only halfway down.
