Chapter Eighteen
We drive in silence for a few minutes, I didn't know where he was taking me but I didn't really care at this point, he was actually the first to speak.
"We'll drive for a while until we find a safe place to stay for the night," he says breaking the silence, I just shake my head continuing to look out the window.
"We had a safe place to stay but you've just pulled us away from that," I say, still looking out the window seeing all the trees and hills we drove past.
"Do you really think that guy you went to see is gonna keep to his word? he's probably got people there already looking for you" he says annoyed turning the corner, which thinking about it was probably true, I'd only known him a little while but I wouldn't trust him even if I knew him for years.

We follow Taylor up to our bedroom, which was huge, she tells us where everything was before leaving. We follow the annoying women down the hall, who wasn't happy because we'll be 30 seconds late. My arm was linked with Ryan's as we walk very quickly down the hall, at the end of the hall were huge doors that were opened which led into a huge dining hall, once we enter people were already sitting. I could see my parents, my uncle sat with women, who must be his mate and three other young people, one looked around my age, the other two looked a bit younger, I think they were even twins, they must be my uncle's children. "Sorry we're late your majesty, we had an issue with the clothes, didn't we?" She says turning around to look at Ryan and I, but mostly me I went to speak but Ryan stopped me. "Yes we did, but it's all sorted now no harm done," he says knowing what I would have said if he didn't, I felt like throwing my heel at her head.

It was the next morning, Ryan and I were just getting ready for the day when the bedroom door starts knocking, I open it to find Justin on the other side. "I know it's early but I just really need to speak with you," he says, I smile letting in him closing the door behind him. The cries led me to the ballroom where I stand by the door looking in, my parents and Ryan's parents were in there, Ryan's mum was the one crying. I woke up early, making my way downstairs hoping my parents would be having breakfast, I always miss them as they wake up super early every morning, way before I climb out of my bed. I walk into the dining hall to see them both sitting at the table eating, they look up surprised to see me. "I was worried you would already be gone," I say, holding the teddy behind my back so they couldn't see it. "This is great Savannah, why don't you take a seat and get something to eat? " my father asks with a smile, but I shake my head smiling. "I'm not hungry, I just wanted to show you something maybe you'd be able to remember more about it then I do," I say, they nod as I pull the teddy out from behind my back, they both hold their hands to mouths my mum tearing up.

When I managed to calm down, I explained the whole flashback to Ryan who now was just sat on the bed staring ahead. "You have to tell them," he says looking over at me, after a while of just silence. "Ryan I can't do that, she's Jessie's wife," I say, pointing out the obvious in the situation, but he just stands up. "It's because she's Jessie's wife is why we have to tell them," he says without warning he walks towards the bedroom door, I run after him shouting his name but he doesn't stop and continues to walk downstairs. "Where's the king and queen?" He asks a butler as he gets to the bottom of the stairs, while I was only halfway down.

We all make our way back upstairs, my mother was holding the blanket in her hands while I stay close to Ryan, no one spoke for a few minutes I don't think anyone knew what to actually say. The twins run over saying what they got from the party they went to, Jessie who smiles acting like everything was fine taking the things, Justin turns drying his eyes before smiling down at the twins. "Come on let's go get you a drink, while dad talks with Melissa and Lukas," he says, leading the twins away. "I want to go and speak with Ryan's parents," I say which just makes everyone look over at me shocked, especially Ryan. "Savannah, I can't let you do that," my father says, but I just give him a look, that isn't entirely true.
