Alpha Liam.

He stared at Marilyn in front of him, as she danced away in the crowd. A hiss left his mouth when he saw how others cheered for her. It seemed like they had forgotten about what her mother did to the pack.

Yet, most of them don’t know what Marilyn and her mother had done on the night that their Alpha died, or else, they won’t have been cheering for her. “You have been quiet.” The voice crept up on him.

And to say, he was shocked to see his mother standing behind him. He had thought that she would never talk to him, not after what he had told her that day. But he was wrong. Her face held a smile as she spoke to him, she looks like she had forgotten about what had happened that night. “I have nothing to say, mother.” He told her.

“No, you do. Your face says that you do so say it out.”

He heaved out a heavy sigh that earned the attention of the guard that was staying beside him. “Can we talk after the event? I feel like it isn’t safe to talk here.” He told her.
