*Satvi Pov*

“Ouch!” I said when I felt a small kick in my leg. I glanced up from the plate to stare at the culprit who has a frown on his face completely lost in his thoughts.

So, I calmly but with more force kicked his leg back, and he hissed before looking at me with narrowed eyes. I suddenly thought he would scream or something, but what he did is just another kick to my leg.

“Why are you kicking me?” I asked him frowning.

“You are the one who did it.” He replied shaking his head.

“I did it because you did it before that.” I explained and stood up losing my appetite with the bickering.

“Oh! I am so…” I cut him off shouting “Stop!” covering my ears and closed my eyes.

“Why?” he asked when I uncovered my ears with surprise tone.

“Say anything but don’t say sorry. It sounds so alien to hear it from you.” I replied, not looking back and started walking towards the stairs to sleep.

He apologized yesterday morning, but the words are still ringing in my ears. If I heard him again
