In Love With My Billionaire Boss

Rachel point of view:

I wonder when I lost myself, maybe it was when I married my husband Simon or was it when I agreed to be a housewife.

Being a housewife wasn't a bad idea , you can take care of your home and kids as long as your husband can pay the bills, but being a housewife and being insulted each day left a bitter taste in my mouth and I knew I needed to end this.

Simon asked me to get him.a glass of water and I as the dutiful and jobless wife as he calls me walked out of the room to downstairs and filled up the glass cup.

I took the tray of water up to our room and dropped it on the table in front of my husband Simon.

Simon was quietly sitting on our couch with his legs crossed reading a newspaper while I sat on the bed watching him. I wondered if I should ask him what was I'm my mind or if I should ignore.

But I decided to approach him on this matter.

"Simon, I want to talk to you about something important.” I said in a small voice from where I sat in bed, and I noticed a frown instantly form on his face as I was bothering him.

Simon never takes me seriously, so I was not that bothered when he ignored my words as he took a sip from the glass cup of water beside him.

I decided to speak to him again.

"Simon, did you hear what I said? I wanted to talk to you about finding a job, I don't want to continue staying at home, and I want to start working.” I told him what was on my mind, and I saw the corner of his lips twitch, and he slowly turned to me with a glare.

"What do you mean that you want to work?” Simon, my husband asked me in a low voice filled with anger.

I haven't even said anything and he is already annoyed.

“I want to go back to my job because there's nothing I am doing at home ,the only thing that I received all day after working my ass off cleaning is insults and I'm tired of it and….” I was trying to explain my grievances to him.

“Rachel!” Simon cut me off with a yell and glared at me and I flinched in surprise and my eyes widened.

“I have told you not to bring up this conversation with me. Why won't you listen?” He asked in annoyance as he closed the newspaper and slammed it on the table beside him.

I looked down to my laps and both my lower lips. I was trying to talk to him calmly , but why is he overreacting?

“Simon, I am just telling you that I am tired of staying at home. It has already been four years and…”

“No Rachel, you can't work.” He refused to listen to me while shaking his head and I frowned.

“But Simon this is…” I tried to speak again and he threw the glass cup at me and I got up immediately and out of the way as the glass cup fell on the bed and the water spilled all over the place.

He was trying to hit me.

“Rachel shut up! If you know what's good for you then shut up your mind because I will never agree to let you work in this house!” He yelled as he refused

“Then give me a job in your company.” I suggested as his eyes followed me and he stood up and I involuntarily moved back.

“Are you kidding me, Do you think you're qualified enough to work in my company?”Simon asked me in a condescending tone.

“Simon, have you forgotten that I was the best in my class in college?” I asked him, annoyed by his words.

“That was then,what can you do now ,you can bring nothing to me, so giving you a job is useless.”He told me.

“I am doing nothing at home, I just need to be active. ”I reminded him.

“I mean if you have given birth to my child you will have children to take care of , I should be the one complaining about you because you are literally doing nothing but eating and adding flesh to your ass , you can't even give me a child and I still settled to be with you.” He huffed and I gasped in shock.

“Simon!”I called as tears began to form in my eyes.

His words broke me.

“Have you forgotten I helped you with drawing and decorating of an influential man's mansion in my first year of college and that's how we met, if i didn't marry you after college i would have been successful by now ,don't you even think about that?”I asked him and Simon averted his eyes.

“I told you no so forget it.”Simon said as he continued reading his newspaper.
