When Mark found Lily was in deep sleep, he got down the bed and walked out of the room. It was past midnight, and the rain had stopped. He went out of the room and saw Damien was standing there beside the door. Mark closed the door behind him and stood beside him.

"May I ask why did you not take away Lily's soul that day?" Mark queried him and peered into his eyes.
