Later in the evening, Lucian opened the closet and picked a white-colored t-shirt with a navy blue blazer and pants. He got ready and then left the house. Picking his car from the place where he had left it earlier, he left for the orphanage. He pulled the car in front of the orphanage and stepped down from it. He went inside the gate and kept walking until he reached the backyard, which was decorated. 

“Are they organizing a party or something?” Lucian wondered when a man in his 40s came to him and told him to follow him. Lucian gave a nod and followed the man. He saw the Happy Birthday banner made for Alieana. “Oh, today is her birthday. How could I forget about this?” thought Lucian. 

“Uncle, you came. Thank you for coming,” a little girl told Lucian who gave her a tiny smile.
