The hot liquid hit her skin before her brain could process what was happening.

“Aharhhhh!” Daniella staggered back instantly, the tray slipping slightly from her grip as the coffee soaked into her cloth.

She glared at him hard, tears building up in her eye lids, a smirk escaping her lips, of course she wasn’t surprised.

If he could rip out the heart of a man then what’s coffee he can’t spill on her,

Her fingers clenched tightly as she fought the urge not to scream again, she wanted to feel the pain so badly so every time she looked at him she’d be reminded that he was going to die by her own hands.

The room went dead silent.

Christain didn’t move, he didn’t apologize instead he slowly placed the cup on the table.

“I told you I wanted black coffee with no milk and no sugar so what did you just give me?” He questioned his voice hard and extremely harshly.

Daniella chest burned, her pride burned even more

She glared at him hard.

“I … I made it in a way you requested” Daniella stammered.

She was sure, she made sure it was black coffee and didn’t even put sugar or milk.

“Drink!” Christian ordered pushing the cup with a little bit of coffee inside it towards her.

Daniella slowly pulled the cup with her hands and then into her mouth she speedily spilled it out.

The coffee was pepperish like someone had added pepper inside it.

“I … didn’t do this.. I made sure I put just black coffee” she tried to explain but words failed her.

Christian raised his head slowly watching her reaction but she stayed mute, no emotions not even anger annoyance tears nothing. And this annoyed him the most.

Christain stood up, and slowly he walked towards Daniella. His legs came to a halt when she stopped two feet away from her close enough for Daniella to feel his breath on her skin if he talked.

He lowered his head and his mouth extremely close to Daniella’s ears.

She said nothing, no movement, her body arched as she stood but she showed no sign of weakness.

“You have one job, and you can’t even do it properly”

His eyes lingered on her for a few seconds then he stepped back.

“Clean this mess up and get out!” He said dismissively,

Daniella nodded.

“Yes sir”

He had already turned away, picked up his laptop, his phone care keys and walked out of the room. To him Daniella was nothing.

The moment she walked out of the door, the air became lighter, she could breathe properly she rushed through the hallway and then down the stairs and into her room she locked the door behind her.

Daniella dropped on the bed, tearing her top open as she watched her bare body through the mirror in the room

From her chest down to her breast were pure red, as a result from the burnt tea spilled on her.

“What the fuck was that?” She groaned, her eyes tearing open in annoyance.

“That idiot!” She scoffed taking a look at her skin again, of course she wanted to kill him immediately,

“What on earth does he think he is?” She asked no one in particular, her head burning in annoyance.

“He thinks he can do this to me and go Scot free” her eyes dropped on her hot pointy nipple in annoyance.

She squeezed them softly, a little moan escaping her lips slowly.

“Damn girl” she whispered.

She looked at the mark on her bare body, she hissed the pain didn’t bother her, if anything she pain built her, she hated christian even more.

She stood up slowly, walking towards the mirror her reflection stared back at her.

“Don’t worry Danny, we will win” she whispered slowly to herself.

She turned away from the mirror, grabbed a fresh shirt and pulled it on, she wasn’t backing out now, she’d make sure she gets everything she wants and destroy his life, that was her mission.

Outside Christian drove angrily, something about Daniella bothered like crazy, not the coffee or the interaction. It’s the way she stood with no emotions written on her face.

He wanted her to react, say something at least that would get him to sack her, he hated the fact that she was living with him, he hated women and Daniella was someone who he just couldn’t stand.

He drove the car to a halt as he pulled the car door open, stepping out and walking into the bar by the right hand side of the road.

“What may we get you sir?” The waitress walked up to him a few minutes after he sat down.

“Whiskey” he responded dismissively, not even looking at the ladies face.

“Mom, you caused all this!” He screamed as the lady walked out

Few minutes later she returned back with a bottle of whiskey and a glass cup.

Christain tore the bottle open and gulped almost half of the bottle down his throat trying to get himself high as crazy.

After a while it began to kick in, his vision blurred as he tried to get himself together but was failing at it

He turned sharply his eyes dropping on one of the women who was almost naked, she looked at him her face curving into a smile as she rolled her waist in circles

Christian couldn’t take it any more, he was losing his mind. The lady who didn’t understand what was going on started matching her way towards him.

“I’m sorry you can’t come anywhere close to him” Christian’s personal assistant walked in almost immediately as he blocked the woman from coming anywhere close to his boss.

The woman hissed and walked away angrily.

“Boss, are you okay?” David asked, trying to pull Christian together.

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    The Other brother

Daniella read the message three times before she handed the phone to Christian. But you’re still blaming the wrong brother. His expression shifted the moment the words registered. He did not ask who the message meant. They both already knew. Her uncle had a brother.A brother she had never heard of.A brother her father had apparently known.A brother connected to Crown Meridian. And now someone was telling her she had spent thirteen years blaming the wrong one.“Who is my uncle’s brother?” she asked.Christian looked up. “That’s what we’re going to find out.”He called the security team at once and ordered a full search of every available record connected to her uncle. Daniella paced beside the desk while he spoke, her mind looping back to the recording. Her father’s voice. Samuel Harper’s name. The unidentified man. And the sentence that had been cut short just as it reached the most important word. His name is—For thirteen years she had believed her uncle was the one who held ever

The drive sat on the center console between them, small and ordinary and somehow heavier than anything else in the car. Daniella could not stop staring at it. A few megabytes. That was all. Yet the file name burned behind her eyes.10-17-13.mp3.The date her father died. The date Samuel Harper—and possibly others—had gathered at Crown Meridian. The date that had sat at the center of her life for thirteen years like a stone she could never quite dislodge.Christian drove with both hands locked on the wheel, jaw set, expression unreadable. They had barely spoken since leaving the Crown Meridian building. The silence felt denser than the traffic around them.Daniella finally broke it.“You heard what he said.”Christian’s grip tightened. “I heard him.”“He said your father knew.”“I know.”“About what happened to mine.”He glanced at her, then back to the road. “We don’t know that yet.”“The message on the phone said my father discovered something about Samuel.”Christian said nothing.S

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    Room 314

The old Crown Meridian building looked nothing like Daniella had imagined. It stood at the end of a narrow street surrounded by newer buildings, its stone exterior darkened by years of rain and neglect. Most of the windows were covered with metal shutters, and a faded sign above the entrance was barely readable.CROWN MERIDIAN HOLDINGS.Daniella stared at it from inside the car.“This place has been abandoned for years,” Christian said.“Not completely.”She pointed toward the side of the building.A security light had just switched on.Christian followed her gaze.Someone was there. He immediately reached for his phone.“Stay in the car.”Daniella turned toward him. “Absolutely not.”“Daniella.”“My uncle is inside.”“And we don’t know who else is inside.”“Exactly. That’s why I’m coming.”Christian stared at her for several seconds before giving up.“Fine. But you stay beside me.”They got out of the car.The street was almost completely empty. Daniella could hear the sound of her o

Daniella stared at the photograph on her phone until her eyes began to ache. Her uncle was sitting in a dark room with his hands tied behind a wooden chair. There was blood on the corner of his mouth, but he was conscious. His head was slightly lowered, his expression difficult to read. Whoever had taken the photograph had made sure his face was visible.Christian stood beside her, his expression hardening as he studied the image.“Send it to me.”Daniella immediately forwarded the photograph.“Can you trace where it came from?”“Not from the photograph itself.” Christian pulled out his phone. “But whoever sent this may have made a mistake.”Daniella looked at him. “What mistake?”“The image was sent directly to your phone. That means there’s a communication trail. Give me a minute.”He stepped away and began working.Daniella looked around her uncle’s study again. A few minutes ago, this room had been filled with questions. Now it felt like the answers were closing in around her.Her

Daniella knew something was wrong before they reached the mansion. She sat beside Christian in silence, staring through the passenger window as the city passed in a blur of headlights and rain. The message from the archive remained open on her phone: Start with the first lie your uncle ever told you.She had spent thirteen years believing she knew the truth about her father’s death. Now she wasn’t even sure whether the foundation of that truth had been real. Her uncle had blamed the Harpers. He had told her that Samuel Harper had ordered her father’s death. He had told her Christian knew more than he admitted. But the documents they had just discovered suggested something else entirely. Her father had been investigating Crown Meridian. Someone had forged his signature. Her uncle had known he was in danger. And now someone wanted Daniella to question everything.Christian’s hand closed over hers. “Don’t do this to yourself.”She looked at him. “How am I supposed to stop?”“You can’t so

The message remained on Daniella’s screen long after the typing bubble disappeared.Find out who your father was trying to expose before he died. She read it again. Then again. For thirteen years, she had built her entire understanding of her father’s death around one belief: Christian Harper’s family had destroyed him. Her uncle had given her a name, a motive, and enough pieces of a story to make a grieving daughter believe she understood exactly what had happened. But now the pieces were moving. Her father had been investigating someone.Samuel Harper had been involved in the same meeting. Her uncle had been there too.And three days later, her father was dead.Daniella looked at Christian.“Your father knew mine was investigating something.”Christian remained silent for several seconds. “Apparently.”“Why would he?”“I don’t know.”“Then we find out.”Christian looked toward the archive shelves. “There might be something else here.”They searched for almost an hour.Every folder c
