The hot liquid hit her skin before her brain could process what was happening.

“Aharhhhh!” Daniella staggered back instantly, the tray slipping slightly from her grip as the coffee soaked into her cloth.

She glared at him hard, tears building up in her eye lids, a smirk escaping her lips, of course she wasn’t surprised.

If he could rip out the heart of a man then what’s coffee he can’t spill on her,

Her fingers clenched tightly as she fought the urge not to scream again, she wanted to feel the pain so badly so every time she looked at him she’d be reminded that he was going to die by her own hands.

The room went dead silent.

Christain didn’t move, he didn’t apologize instead he slowly placed the cup on the table.

“I told you I wanted black coffee with no milk and no sugar so what did you just give me?” He questioned his voice hard and extremely harshly.

Daniella chest burned, her pride burned even more

She glared at him hard.

“I … I made it in a way you requested” Daniella stammered.

She was sure, she made sure it was black coffee and didn’t even put sugar or milk.

“Drink!” Christian ordered pushing the cup with a little bit of coffee inside it towards her.

Daniella slowly pulled the cup with her hands and then into her mouth she speedily spilled it out.

The coffee was pepperish like someone had added pepper inside it.

“I … didn’t do this.. I made sure I put just black coffee” she tried to explain but words failed her.

Christian raised his head slowly watching her reaction but she stayed mute, no emotions not even anger annoyance tears nothing. And this annoyed him the most.

Christain stood up, and slowly he walked towards Daniella. His legs came to a halt when she stopped two feet away from her close enough for Daniella to feel his breath on her skin if he talked.

He lowered his head and his mouth extremely close to Daniella’s ears.

She said nothing, no movement, her body arched as she stood but she showed no sign of weakness.

“You have one job, and you can’t even do it properly”

His eyes lingered on her for a few seconds then he stepped back.

“Clean this mess up and get out!” He said dismissively,

Daniella nodded.

“Yes sir”

He had already turned away, picked up his laptop, his phone care keys and walked out of the room. To him Daniella was nothing.

The moment she walked out of the door, the air became lighter, she could breathe properly she rushed through the hallway and then down the stairs and into her room she locked the door behind her.

Daniella dropped on the bed, tearing her top open as she watched her bare body through the mirror in the room

From her chest down to her breast were pure red, as a result from the burnt tea spilled on her.

“What the fuck was that?” She groaned, her eyes tearing open in annoyance.

“That idiot!” She scoffed taking a look at her skin again, of course she wanted to kill him immediately,

“What on earth does he think he is?” She asked no one in particular, her head burning in annoyance.

“He thinks he can do this to me and go Scot free” her eyes dropped on her hot pointy nipple in annoyance.

She squeezed them softly, a little moan escaping her lips slowly.

“Damn girl” she whispered.

She looked at the mark on her bare body, she hissed the pain didn’t bother her, if anything she pain built her, she hated christian even more.

She stood up slowly, walking towards the mirror her reflection stared back at her.

“Don’t worry Danny, we will win” she whispered slowly to herself.

She turned away from the mirror, grabbed a fresh shirt and pulled it on, she wasn’t backing out now, she’d make sure she gets everything she wants and destroy his life, that was her mission.

Outside Christian drove angrily, something about Daniella bothered like crazy, not the coffee or the interaction. It’s the way she stood with no emotions written on her face.

He wanted her to react, say something at least that would get him to sack her, he hated the fact that she was living with him, he hated women and Daniella was someone who he just couldn’t stand.

He drove the car to a halt as he pulled the car door open, stepping out and walking into the bar by the right hand side of the road.

“What may we get you sir?” The waitress walked up to him a few minutes after he sat down.

“Whiskey” he responded dismissively, not even looking at the ladies face.

“Mom, you caused all this!” He screamed as the lady walked out

Few minutes later she returned back with a bottle of whiskey and a glass cup.

Christain tore the bottle open and gulped almost half of the bottle down his throat trying to get himself high as crazy.

After a while it began to kick in, his vision blurred as he tried to get himself together but was failing at it

He turned sharply his eyes dropping on one of the women who was almost naked, she looked at him her face curving into a smile as she rolled her waist in circles

Christian couldn’t take it any more, he was losing his mind. The lady who didn’t understand what was going on started matching her way towards him.

“I’m sorry you can’t come anywhere close to him” Christian’s personal assistant walked in almost immediately as he blocked the woman from coming anywhere close to his boss.

The woman hissed and walked away angrily.

“Boss, are you okay?” David asked, trying to pull Christian together.

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    The Secret she Hid

Daniella’s eyes remained fixed on the photograph resting between them. Something about it made her uneasy. Perhaps it was the careful way Christian’s mother had handled it, or perhaps it was the look in her eyes moments earlier, as though she had been standing on the edge of a confession she wasn’t entirely sure she should make. Whatever the reason, Daniella knew with absolute certainty that the photograph mattered.Just as Christian’s mother opened her mouth to speak, a familiar voice echoed from the staircase.“Mom?”Both women turned instinctively.Christian was making his way downstairs, one hand tucked into the pocket of a black pair of trousers while the other adjusted the cuff of his shirt. His hair was still slightly damp from his shower, and despite the casual appearance, he somehow managed to look effortlessly intimidating. The moment his mother saw him approaching, her expression changed. Without hesitation, she slipped the photograph back into the folder and closed it befo

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    The Woman in the photograph

Morning sunlight filtered through the enormous windows of Christian’s bedroom, spilling across the sheets in soft bands of gold. The city beyond the glass was already alive, but inside the room everything felt strangely quiet, wrapped in a calm neither of them had experienced in a very long time. Daniella stirred first, her eyelashes fluttering as she slowly opened her eyes. For a moment she forgot where she was. Then she became aware of the warmth surrounding her, the steady rise and fall of another person’s breathing, and the strong arm resting securely around her waist. A deep voice broke through the silence. “Good morning.” The words were low and rough from sleep, carrying a warmth that sent an unexpected shiver through her. Slowly, Daniella lifted her gaze and found Christian already looking at her. His dark hair was slightly messy, his expression softer than she had ever seen it, and there was none of the cold authority he usually carried around like armor. In that moment h

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    A Mother’s Wart

The moment Christian’s mother saw the two of them walk through the front door, her expression darkened.Christian’s arm was draped heavily around Daniella’s shoulders as she struggled to keep him upright. The scent of alcohol surrounded him, and every few seconds he stumbled slightly, forcing her to tighten her grip around his waist. The older woman’s eyes slowly moved from Christian to Daniella before returning to Christian again.“What exactly is going on here?”Neither of them answered immediately.Christian lifted his head slightly and blinked at his mother.“Good evening, Mother.”“Don’t good evening me.”Her voice echoed through the mansion.Daniella immediately stiffened.“I just got off the phone with three different people asking me if the rumors are true.”Christian frowned.“What rumors?”“The rumors that you have suddenly decided to parade a housemaid around New York and call her your girlfriend.”The words hit the room like a slap.Daniella lowered her gaze immediately.C

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    The price of a promise

The moment Daniella’s eyes landed on the figure standing near the restaurant entrance, the smile on her face disappeared. For a second, the noise inside the restaurant seemed to fade into the background. The laughter, the music, the celebration surrounding her suddenly felt distant. Her uncle stood near the glass doors with his hands clasped behind his back, his expression dark enough to make her stomach drop instantly.Fear crawled down her spine. She quickly glanced back toward the table.Christian was completely distracted. One of his friends had just raised another toast, and judging by the amount of alcohol already in front of him, he was far past the point of being sober. His face was flushed, his laugh louder than usual, and his attention was entirely focused on the people around him.Because the last thing Daniella needed was for Christian to notice the panic threatening to consume her.Forcing herself to remain calm, she excused herself from the table with a small smile and q

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    Will you be my girlfriend?

The moment Daniella left Christian’s room, she walked straight to her bedroom and shut the door behind her. Her heart was still racing from what had happened upstairs. She pressed her back against the door and closed her eyes, trying to steady her breathing, but it was impossible. Every time she thought about the way Christian had looked at her, the way he had confessed that he couldn’t stop thinking about her, her pulse betrayed her all over again. What frustrated her most was that none of this was supposed to happen. She had entered Christian Harper’s life with a purpose. There had been a plan. A mission. A reason for every smile, every conversation, every step she took closer to him. Yet lately, nothing felt planned anymore. The lines had become blurred, and she no longer knew where the mission ended and her real feelings began.Meanwhile, somewhere else inside the mansion, Christian was staring at his phone. For several minutes, he remained seated behind his desk, replaying the ev

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    The Kiss that changed everything

Christian stopped directly in front of her, leaving barely any space between them. Daniella could feel her heartbeat pounding so hard that she was certain he could hear it. Neither of them spoke. The room had become painfully quiet, the kind of silence that seemed to magnify every breath, every glance, every thought they were both trying desperately to ignore. His eyes searched hers, lingering there for far longer than they should have. For days he had been fighting this feeling, convincing himself that whatever was happening between them was temporary, that it would pass if he simply ignored it long enough. Instead, it had only grown stronger. Paris had made it worse. Watching her laugh with another man at the airport had made it unbearable. And now, standing this close to her, he found himself losing the last bit of control he had left.Daniella swallowed hard as he moved closer. “Christian…” she whispered, though she wasn’t entirely sure whether she was warning him or herself. His

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    The Mission she never expected

“I want you to go undercover.” The moment the words left Christian’s mouth, Daniella genuinely thought she had heard him wrongly. She stared at him from across the office, her brows slowly pulling together in confusion while her brain tried to process what he had just said. “W

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    Oh My God

Christian adjusted his grip around Daniella carefully as he carried her upstairs. The mansion was quiet, almost unnaturally quiet, but somehow the silence only made the tension between them louder. Daniella could hear the steady sound of his footsteps against the staircase, could feel the warmth

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    The Wrong Place

“What exactly are you doing here?”The voice came from behind her, low and cold, and it froze Daniella where she stood. Her breath caught in her throat as her body stiffened instinctively. Slowly, she turned.A man stood behind her.Not Christian. He was taller, broader, his face

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    Strings pulled in shadows

Angella’s words lingered long after she stepped away.Daniella didn’t move immediately. She stood there, the files still in her hands, her mind replaying the tone, the warning, the quiet confidence in Angela’s voice. It wasn’t just a threat. It was something deeper. Something calculated.
