Angella’s breathing hitched.

Her wrist was still held firmly, she winched as she pain coming from the grip hurt her so badly.

She turned sharply as she froze.

“Christain?” She whispered.

She had watched him leave the house earlier, how on earth is he back home now.

Chrstian glared with anger as he squeezed her wrist even harder.

“Have you lost your mind?!” He screamed, his voice shaking the building to its brim.

“Christian … I … I was just…” tears dripped from her eye lid down to her cheek

“What is she doing here?”Angela’s voice carried across the boardroom, sharp enough to slice through the silence that had already settled. Every head turned, not just toward Daniella this time, but toward Christian as well.Christian didn’t look at Daniella. His gaze was fixed on Angella. “And what are you doing here?” he asked, his tone calm but laced with something far more dangerous beneath it.Angella’s expression shifted, just slightly. Not fear. Never fear. But something close to being caught off guard. She hadn’t expected that. Not from him. Not in front of everyone. Before she could respond, the woman beside her stepped forward.Christian’s mother. Her presence alone shifted the balance in the room. She didn’t raise her voice, didn’t need to. Authority followed her naturally, the kind that didn’t demand attention but commanded it without effort.“I brought her,” she said simply “I spilt my shares into two and one belongs to her and anyone

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    A Seat she shouldn’t have

“My secretary,” Christian said simply. “Starting now.” The words did not settle immediately. They hung in the air between them, heavy, unexpected, almost unreal. Daniella stared at him, her brows slowly knitting together as if her mind refused to process what she had just heard. “What?” she asked, this time quieter, but filled with disbelief. “No… no, that doesn’t make any sense.” Christian didn’t respond immediately. He simply watched her, his expression calm, unreadable, as though he had already made the decision long before saying it out loud. Daniella shook her head, taking a step back. “I’m serious. This isn’t funny. I just started working here. A few days ago, I was literally your housemaid. Now I just got a position in the company, and suddenly you want to make me your secretary?” She let out a dry laugh, clearly overwhelmed. “That doesn’t even sound normal.” “It doesn’t need to sound normal,” Christian replied. His

“What!!!”The word tore out of Daniella before she could stop it, sharp enough to echo against the walls of the office. The sound hit Sophia instantly. She jerked, spinning around so fast that the small bottle in her hand almost slipped from her grip. Her eyes widened in pure shock, her entire body stiffening like she had just been caught in the middle of something she could never explain her way out of.Daniella stepped further into the room, her gaze dropping briefly to the cup on Christian’s desk before returning to Sophia’s trembling hand. The bottle was still tilted slightly, like whatever had been inside it had just been poured seconds ago.“What are you doing?” Daniella asked, her voice steady now, but dangerously sharp. “What exactly are you pouring into his drink?”Sophia’s lips parted, but no immediate answer came out. Her chest rose and fell unevenly, panic crawling all over her face as she tried to gather herself.“I… I can explain,” she stuttered qui

The moment the car door shut behind them, the silence inside the vehicle felt heavier than the night they had just left behind. For a few seconds, neither of them spoke, the faint hum of the engine and the soft rush of the night air outside filling the space between them. Then suddenly, Christian laughed. Not the usual restrained sound he gave in public, but something freer, something that slipped past his control before he could stop it. He leaned his head slightly back against the seat, shaking it as though replaying everything that had just happened.“You…” he started, pausing as another laugh escaped him. “You walked out of a five-star restaurant… barefoot.”Daniella turned to look at him, her expression flat, unimpressed. “So?”“So?” he repeated, glancing at her with raised brows. “Do you even realize what that looked like?”“Yes,” she replied calmly, turning her face back toward the window. “Freedom.”That only made him laugh again, softer this time. S

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    A game of Distraction

The door didn’t just open; it slammed against the wall with enough force to snap Daniella out of whatever storm she had just walked into. She flinched. Her body jerked slightly as her grip tightened around the file in her hand. “Jesus Christ!” she breathed out, her chest rising sharply. “You scared me.”Her voice carried just enough shock to sound believable, but inside, her mind was already racing.Think. Fast.Christian stood at the entrance, unmoving, his presence filling the room in a way that made everything else feel smaller. His gaze was fixed on her direct, unwavering, almost piercing as though he was waiting for something more than just a simple answer.“What are you doing here?” he asked again, slower this time, his tone controlled but firm.Daniella swallowed subtly, forcing her expression into something calmer, something harmless. At the same time, her fingers moved with careful precision. The document she had been holding, the one that had ne

  • In Love with my Father’s Serial Killer    To Close to Ignore

Daniella stood outside the door for a brief second, her fingers hovering mid-air like she suddenly wasn’t sure she was ready to step inside. It wasn’t fear. It wasn’t hesitation either. It was something else—something she didn’t want to name.“Come in.”His voice came from inside, calm, steady, commanding as always. She pushed the door open. And for a momentShe forgot why she was there.Christian sat behind his desk, one hand resting lightly on the surface, the other adjusting the cuff of his shirt. The white fabric clung to him just enough to define the sharp structure of his body without trying too hard. The first three buttons were undone, exposing the smooth stretch of his chest, the faint line of muscle that disappeared beneath the rest of the shirt like something deliberately hidden. Her eyes lingered not intentional but they did. There was something about the way he carried himself effortless, controlled, like he didn’t need to prove anything
