"Princess, save me. They are lying about me, I didn't do it. I didn't cheat anyone, please trust me. Princess, help your dad. Please, I don't wanna die..."
"Dad, I will save you. Nothing will happen to you, trust me. I will..." Droplets of tears rolled down the corner of her eyes as she slowly opened them. The first thing her eyes caught a glimpse of was the ceiling then she slowly scanned the surroundings, it all felt so unfamiliar to her.
Wiping off the corners of her eyes, Sienna settled on the bed. "This is not my room, did we go on a trip? Lovell..."
As she felt a slight pain in her abdomen, past memories flooded before her eyes and a silent cry escaped her mouth. All the betrayals felt so warm just like the dream she saw earlier.
"I thought I almost died. God still had mercy on me... Where is this?" Seeing nobody in the room she was in, as she walked out she was taken aback. "Wow."
Standing on the balcony, Sienna could see the manicured garden with different shades of flower stretching out in the distance. Like the cottage of a fairy tale, everything looked so pretty.
Sienna ran down the stairs and the floor-to-ceiling windows came to her view, making her jaw drop in awe.
The walls were adorned with priceless artwork, the exquisite furniture with intricate carvings, the floor covering in soft silk carpet, everything she saw screamed luxury and beauty.
For a moment, she rubbed her eyes but things remained the same. "I thought I was dreaming but I am here for real. This place looks so majestic and beautiful, where am I exactly? Wait, did I perhaps come to... Heaven? I died and this is heaven, it fits in perfectly. Then I really... died?!"
"You have finally woken up, Miss."
Sienna turned her head to the direction the voice came from and a girl around 24 years appeared before her. Her blonde hair tied in a bun, she had a classic black dress with a crisp white apron on.
Unable to analyse the situation, she asked her in a confused tone of voice, "Do I know you?"
"Oh, sorry. I forgot to introduce myself, I am Maria. I am the one taking care of you for the past few days. Well, how are you feeling now?"
"Take care of... me?"
"Yes."
Sienna pursed her lips and glanced around, "So, I am not dead?"
"No, of course not. You were in a coma for a month, you are alive." Maria replied with an assuring smile placed on her lips.
Upon hearing her clarification, she nodded her head in understanding. Sienna was somewhat relieved to hear that she was still alive.
"I will call doctor Henry right away, he said that when you wake up he must be informed." As Maia turned to leave, Sienna grabbed her hand gently and questioned, "Wait, you just said that I was in a coma for a month. Is it true?"
"Yes."
"Uhmm, you said that you took care of me so were you the one taking me to the hospital?" The last thing she could recall was her getting stabbed, she had no memories of what happened after that.
"Oh, no. It was not me."
"Then who?"
"It was our boss."
"Your boss? What's his name?"
Maria bowed her head and answered before taking her leave, "Sorry, we are not allowed to take his name."
Heaving a sigh, Sienna looked at the outside from the glass window. A lot of questions played on her head, making her feel dizzy. "Who is their boss?"
* * *
"Ahh! Deeper! Please, yes!" A brunette kept moaning in pleasure while digging her nails deep into the man's back who continued thrusting his member in and out of her.
Toys of every shape and size were scattered everywhere on the floor, the smell of wine and whiskey mixed into the air.
Knock!
As someone knocked on the door, the woman pushed the man aside and grabbed the bathrobe from the sofa. "Go wait for me in the next room, I will be back soon."
"Come in."
Her bodyguard entered the room with a blue envelope in his hand, he took out his phone and placed them on the table right in front of her.
"How far are they?" The woman asked.
"...Sorry, Madam. There's still no news of her."
Upon hearing him, she dropped the envelope on the table. "It's been a month, why can't they still find her?"
"They are trying but it's..."
"I told you that I want to see her dead body with my own eyes, if they can't find her then give the task to someone else."
"I got it."
Taking a deep breath, the woman threw a card on his way. "I have tried so hard, I was almost successful but damn! Some motherf*cker changed my plan and took her away... But they can't go far. I will find her from hell and kill her."
* At Night *
Stretching out her arms, Sienna settled on the sofa. Though it all felt like a dream to her, she soon met with the doctor named Henry who checked on her and she also got to meet some other maids who seemed too happy to take care of her.
Turning on the tv, she looked at the wall clock. "It's past 10 pm, I wonder how my dad is doing."
"Famous businessman Lovell Bronze got engaged to his childhood sweetheart in a private ceremony, the two seemed to be seeping champagne on the private yacht's deck and..."
As if her world stopped on the spot, the photos kept popping up on the tv screen and Sienna kept watching them without blinking an eye. Her eyes pooled with tears and her mouth slightly trembled.
Those hurtful words he said to her when she went to see him replayed before eyes and she chuckled in sadness.
"You never smiled so happily when we were together, if you loved her so much why did you pretend to love me?" Tears fell down the corner of her eyes and she hugged her knees. If she could forget, she would have erased all those memories from her life but...
Suddenly everything went blank and silence took over the place. Sienna curled up in a corner of the sofa, her throat became dry and beads of sweats appeared on her forehead.
In a shaky voice, she called out while hugging her knees with all her strength. "M-Maria? I-is an-anyone there?"
"H-hello?" The louder her volume was, the harder it hit her eardrums. Feeling cold, she covered her ears with her hands.
Her body was still shivering when a warm hand touched her shoulder and without a second thought, she hugged the tall figure standing in the dark. "Dad, I'm scared."
"Dad?"
"I'm sorry." The moment Lovell saw a man and woman in the bathroom, he closed the door quickly. As the rushed footsteps faded into the distance, Sienna relaxed her body and rested her head against his chest. "That was close.""You can move away now.""Huh?""He is gone."Noticing how she was leaning on him, Sienna swiftly moved away. "I'm sorry.""Until Mr. Bronze leaves, you can take your time. I will have Haider take care of everything." Saying so as he headed toward the door, Sienna suddenly called out, "Mr. Pierce.""What?""Thank you so much." Sienna watched him walk away, no question, nothing. He didn't even look at her like he was curious or he wanted to ask her anything about it. Thinking of something, she took out her cell phone and dialed a phone number. As a familiar voice spoke up from the other side of the call, a relieved smile appeared in the corner of her lips, "Oli, it's me.""Sia?"Having so many files in her hand, Mela could barely keep walking. She tried to look a
Her eyes were wide open and her lips narrowed in uneasiness, Sienna grabbed onto the corner of the table roughly as she kept staring at the two people she definitely didn't want to meet. "Miss Waters."Everything felt so distant yet weirdly real, in a room full of people she couldn't see anyone other than the two people sitting on her opposite. 'What are they doing here? Why are they... Wait, since this is an office work and she is here with him it means that she must have joined his company. During the time I was checking the details about today's client, I might have missed their names somehow...'"Miss Waters." This time, his icy cold tone of voice pulled her attention. As her frightened gaze shifted to her left, she took a step back. Aston gestured at the paper on the floor, even though he didn't say anything it was as if she could read his mind. Sienna checked her surroundings, everyone was still staring at her. Some looked confused, while some wondered what happened to her a
"Good morning, Miss Waters." "Very Good morning." Giving a sweet smile to the employees who greeted her, Sienna walked past them confidently. A month has passed on the blink of an eye, unlike before everyone called her by her real surname. As if they forgot everything or maybe it never happened, nobody questioned her nor did they ever talk about her carrying the surname 'Marsh' hence she didn't need to explain anything to anyone. Entering the CEO's office, Sienna smiled while staring at the chair. "Looks like he's not here yet... Well, I'm really blessed to meet him, Mr. Pierce is a true gentleman. He didn't throw me out of his house nor did he say anything about it again. Though it's good that I didn't meet Lovell ever again since that day like I thought I would. Anyway, this past month I have been trying hard to become his assistant who can help him in everything. Let's see what do we... "Suddenly as she walked backwards, she hit her head against something hard and as she looked
Seated next to him in the car, Sienna stole a glance of him and looked at the outside of the car window again. Since they left the party venue, she didn't dare utter a single word. Just the expression of his was already telling her he was not in a good mood and talking to him would only cause her trouble. Clearing her throat, Sienna put a fake smile on her face as she voiced, "Just now... Thank you so much. Without your help, I don't know what I could do."Aston remained silent, as he didn't even batter her an eye she bit her lips in tension. Like her, Haider also had the same reaction. Since earlier, he couldn't hide his shocked expression nor could he ask anything to him.'I can understand that he is angry but he can at least say something. With him staying silent, my blood pressure keeps rising. Oh, lord.'"Don't you think you are forgetting something?" Keeping his eyes closed and his arms crossed over his chest as he asked so, Sienna stared at him with a confused look on her face
As the guards stopped him, Aston held her closer and gazed at Haider instructively. "We are invited guest of this party, what do you mean by your behaviour just now?""I'm sorry, sir. But everyone must show their faces if they want to leave. What I mean is they can leave just normally.""Are we some criminals? How can you treat us like this?"Keeping his hands crossed behind, the guard bowed his head in an apology. "I'm sorry if you feel offended but we have to do this for a reason. Please, don't take it to heart."Haider sneakily gazed at Aston and his gaze then shifted to the woman in his arms. She still had her arms around him, her face buried on his shoulder and his coat on her body."As you see, she is not feeling well right now. You don't probably want to make your guests suffer, do you?"The guard stared at his co-workers and added, "We are sorry for troubling you but please, we won't take too much of your time. I hope you can co-operate with us, sir."'As I expected, Lovell r
"I have informed them that we have something important to do so we won't stay, just like you wanted.""Ok." Just as Aston stopped walking, suddenly she hit her head against his back and hissed a little while touching her head. Until now, she walked behind him as quietly as a snail but who knew he would suddenly stop...Keeping a stone-cold gaze on his face as Aston turned toward her, she stared at him with an innocent expression on her face. "Mr. Pierce...""Do you have something to say to me?""Me? What would I say to you?" She questioned him, rubbing her forehead and looking at him with pure innocence as if she couldn't understand what he was trying to say."Then why do you keep walking like a frog?""Huh? Walking like a frog?" Sienna forced herself to smile as she heard him. She couldn't just believe he called her a frog indirectly and with his innocent face, she couldn't get angry even if she wanted to.Noticing the serious look on his face, she pressed her lips together and move
